  1. I have no idea where your other comments have come from, it was just a genuine question on how you thougt your own season was going rather than a superiority complex so thanks for the comment on Swansea. I think some comments you are responding to are from others and referring to a different article to yours if you read back at what they are quoting? I could be missing something myself of course. Either way, all the best for the rest of the season, except for next weekend of course!
  2. Know this is from last year but have to laugh at government advice during the cost of living crisis like your quote plus not buying branded foods, as if this is a completely new idea people havent thought of let alone lived through, completely out of touch.
  3. Thanks, whats the Swansea thoughts and expectations for your own season?
  4. Its a fair call, the only match we have to gauge them in this world cup is the opening game a month ago which didnt even matter anyway. I'd go as far as saying its that unpredictable that if the all blacks or Ireland won by 20+ points it wouldnt be a shock either way.
  5. Prediction time: Wales by 2 Ireland by 8 England by 9 South Africa by 6 Usually pessimistic when it comes to us in world cups but we are a different team now compared to the previous teams, especially our defence, and its probably the best chance we'll ever get at beating NZ in the world cup. Beauty for the neutrals is that all 4 quarters could go either way and they wouldnt be shocks.
  6. The way the fixtures lay ended up being unfair on the Tier 2 nations. NZ can get away with playing an entirely different XV against say, Romania and France in the same week whereas Tier 2 teams kind of have to play their best teams against everyone in order to compete.
  7. The footballing Phil Tufnell. Both great guys, both hilarious, both given far too much media exposure shortly after retirement to the point they seem like parody of themselves.
  8. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-67099977 S4C boss sacked after alleged abuse of Mike Phillips Why is it 'alleged' for this scenario? Abuse is abuse.
  9. I quite like the look
  10. Are we really giving every player who has nosedived a get out of jail by simply staying 'well Rodgers ruined them'? Some players have to take responsibility for kick starting their own careers again. I swear in 20 years time some will claim Luke Thomas could have been a hybrid of Cafu and Roberto Carlos if he hadnt had the Rodgers effect....
  11. After all the backing of Farrell by Borthwick, I'd be amazed if he gets dropped.
  12. Ability is never in doubt but he needs a move outside the premier league as I think he's done in England. Would probably be a success with a top Italian side with the slow down in pace suiting him.
  13. I found out before I watched the film, took the edge off it a little
  14. Happy with our starting XV, looks like we've gone for versatility over ability with Jimmy O'Brien picked as 23 ahead of McCloskey, got to trust Farrell of course.
  15. We are exclusive in that in the premier league. No one ever says Forest won the title for Man City last season by beating Arsenal because it was pretty obvious Man City were going to win the title anyway at that point. Same appies to us and that Chelsea Spurs match.
  16. That got me I must admit, superb work from Norwich
  17. Looking 2 tickets for this
  18. Hate it in football in general but if its modern football then it only makes sense we try to benefit from it. It needs binning from football though where tf would you even start?
  19. Perfect result
  20. If Fiji lose by 7 or less then Fiji go through.
  21. The one game the world doesnt want to see a shock and Portugal are winning Lets all just settle for a Portugal win by 6 everyone yeah? Good.
  22. Gary O'Neill must feel smug as shit at Wolves right now compared to where Bournemouth are at.
  23. Will there be more Welsh or Argentine fans in the stadium for the quarters?
  24. The way Japan are defending I cant see Argentina not scoring again so Japan will probably need 15+ points to win. Tough ask at this stage.
