It’s not been publicly stated but it has been banded about that due to the sales we’ve made we are sitting a bit more comfortably regarding PSR - it’s also been well noted that we had a set fee we were after for Bilal which seemed verbally agreed with Palace and we’ve now changed that demand a bit higher because of this.

The majority of criticism regarding this is from people who have no idea about it all with their argument being “he played for you when you won the league” Yeah he did, 177 minutes and 1 assist from January onwards in the league. Then failed to fulfill his potential and constantly posted cryptic messages whilst here, then when left he said “shackles off, freedom”.

That’s fine by me, everyone has their opinions. I want him to do well of course and I’m absolutely not slating him, we must remember this is just his third game of professional football too - I just don’t think he’s been anywhere near as good as people are making him out to be and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with saying that.

I’ve not been impressed with him at all. A nice assist but I can’t remember anything else that he’s done, last night and against Charlton. Would be interested to see how many times he’s given the ball away.
