  1. Depressing as hell reading that lineup.
  2. Our problem is getting rid of overpaid, underperforming squad. We really need to sell a few before the end of the window. That said I’m happy with Marti. He wants us to play attacking football and I like what I’ve seen and heard from him so far. Let’s hope he does well and can help the players enjoy their football again. I also hope he creates an environment where our young players can get lots of opportunities to play and impress and flourish. If he manages that it’ll be a great start and I'll be on board
  3. Sell. He's a headless chicken who cost us a massive amount of points last season
  4. It should be no more than 2 years. But I'd find it hard to argue with signing him. 18 goals as a midfielder is tremendous. Think all of our Central Midfielders plus Daka and Ayew combined might struggle to get that
  5. Have they not had a preseason?
  6. Vestergaard Coady and Winks look completely uninterested.
  7. Didn't see the goals. Just turned it on 5 mins ago, we can't seem to get near the ball...

    Daka

I don't disagree he played a role but we still massively overpaid

    Daka

He's most likely to see out his contract, by the end of which he'll have cost us around £43 million with the price we paid for him + wages. I'd argue he's our worst ever signing, worse than Slimani, Adrien Silva and Perez for me. We've signed many underwhelming flops but he just tops the lot I'm afraid.
  10. He's 100% going. Too good to play in the Championship and we need to cash in anyway sadly. I've made peace with it already. It's just a case of when and where.
  11. Hopefully he's the right man and does a good job. What's encouraging is QPR fans all seem to rate him highly, and anyone willing to pay half their own compensation to come here deserves our full support! There's a lot that needs sorting because the squad we've got is too big which means the wage bill is too high. And there's a lot of players I really would like to see the back of. Really hope he clears enough space so that some of our academy players get their chance to shine this season.
  12. Literally seen him play once and that was against us. He was good that day though, I must admit
  13. This ****er here yet?
  14. paying the price for years of bad senior management
  15. Seems to have a clear way of playing and track record of developing young players - massive ticks for me. Has obviously already worked under a tight budget. Has experience in Spain, Norway, Sweden so we could tap into those foreign markets. Now time for people to rally behind him Hopefully he’s not afraid to make tough calls - move on some of the deadwood and sort of the 'do what you want' culture at Seagrave.
  16. No manager comes without risk obviously but there’s stuff like about Cifuentes. Notably the fact QPR were bottom, struggling massively and on a six game losing streak when he took over. He still managed to keep them up. Seems to have a clear way of playing and keen on developing younger players. When it clicks like that 4–0 against Leeds you can see the potential (I remember watching that thought they were fantastic). I don't know a huge amount about him but i'm cautiously optimistic
  17. Fkin hell.... it just feels like we're spinning a big wheel of names at the minute
  18. That's a real blow if true
  19. Banter club **** off King Power. Tossers
  20. No manager, no sponsor, no kit, no coaches… we've got Andy King in some job for the boys role and we've locked down contracts for academy players, fantastic, the season’s about to kick off in just over a month. We've been relegated since April the 20th... but who needs to put things in place to set us up for successful season... not us.....who cares about that... nah!
  21. It's only a pre season friendly but it does feel like there is a real opportunity to do something different next season by backing the youth. I rate them all Page, Monga, Nelson, Aluko, Evans, Wanya - we are blessed to have these lads with us. Fully behind them breaking through and being involved. Imagine the rewards if it pays off. I've never been against a few more experienced pros but if a lot of the deadwood is still here and blocking the pathway it will be extremely frustrating.
