Surprised by the amount of negativity. His career hasn’t been perfect, but he did manage to score nearly 30 goals in a 43-game season at Middlesbrough and was there player of the year. You don't get that many goals by a fluke. Yes it was in the championship but would any of current strikers would get anything close to that at the same level? No, I don't think so

This is nuts. Father-in-law is an academy scout at Chelsea actually scouted him for their u18's years ago. The only logical explanation seems to be moving Luke Thomas on and sticking with Justin/Kristiansen as our left-back options. He's an exciting player on his day but that injury record worries me.

Today proved the players are still playing for him. He got the tactics right too playing out when it made sense and going long when it didn’t. That’s how you handle teams with more quality: clear your lines, get stuck in and stay smart. Plus the fact we took our chances. The starting lineup looked terrible on paper, with Ayew and Bobby Reid but it actually worked . He needs proper backing in the transfer market a striker and a centre back has to be the priority for me.
