  1. Wrong thread
  2. I'm excited about him. Like any manager, he comes with risks, but I'm pretty sure the players will respect and listen to him. If he can bring back some togetherness and unity around the club again we'll be in a far better position than we were under Cooper
  3. If it's Ruud, yes, there's some risk—but every manager comes with that. I’d be excited to see him take charge. He seems to have something about him; he's up-and-coming coach, and he’ll earn the players' respect right away. And he'll have a vision for the club. The priority is keeping us up this season, but you can see him also wanting to focus on young talent and push us/and his own managerial career forward.
  4. I don't think it’ll be Moyes—I just feel that with this group of players, it would be hard to get them to buy into a defensive style and essentially hold us back just to try and survive. They’ll be looking for a manager with a style similar to Enzo's. It wasn’t perfect under him, but the players were fully on board, and there was a sense of togetherness which has been lost under Cooper
  5. Give it to Rebekah Vardy
  6. Agreed, managing is all fun and games… until you’ve had to work with Wout Faes and Patson Daka
  7. I’ve been looking at the list of players signed under Graham Potter on Transfermarkt, and it's a pretty impressive overall. I’m not sure how much of that is down to him versus Brighton's good recruitment policies, but you do feel he knows a good player when he sees one. I’d probably feel most comfortable with him spending a bit of money in January, as we definitely need two or three players
  8. An underdog daring to believe they can achieve a result against a Top 6 club? Impossible - I thought you had to sit back all game and wait until they score
  9. No, Mavididi runs into Fofana who doesn't make any challenge
  10. Err, yeah, they’re no mugs, especially at home. Meanwhile, we’ve got mugs written all over us - especially Cooper. 3-1 Brentford.
  11. First of all, I didn’t expect anything against Chelsea, but the manner of the defeat much like against United is the most troubling thing. Yesterday’s game was men against boys, jt was that bad. How it ended only 2-1 is beyond me. The reality is we’re getting worse every week, and we’re not staying up as long as Cooper remains in charge. The one redeeming quality Cooper seemed to have was getting players to run for him, and even that’s gone now. I’ll admit, it’s a tough job and the squad isn’t great, but there’s enough quality to work with. Right now though, we’re so easy to play against. The players look frustrated with him, and I just think he’s losing he dressing room. If he's not already
  12. Ndidi - FFS hit the target
  13. Unlucky that. First decent bit of play
  14. 0 passes in the final third. Project Cooper going well!
  15. Overall, this is an incredibly weak team for the Premier League, but the decision to pick Soumare is absolutely baffling. We spent £20 million on Skipp, yet he can’t even get a game ahead of someone who has been a complete waste of space. In three years, the only notable thing Soumare has done is help us scrape a point against 10-man Ipswich. He still doesn’t seem bothered, and honestly, this season is shaping up to be a disaster the longer Cooper stays in charge
  16. Oh great, just what we wanted 🤦🏻‍♂️
  17. Debating whether I even watch the second half. Such a poor performance so far
  18. What a chance for Ndidi, never really confident he'd finish it though.
  19. Well done VK
  20. I fell off my chair when Ayew scored and scared the dog
  21. No complaints. The defence is always a concern, but at least Justin drops to the bench. Really liking how the team looks in an attacking sense anyway
  22. I'd rather have Daniel Amartey at right back Too far?
  23. He's an ok player - he'd be better for a team abroad than us though. He's just not suited to our club and never has been.
  24. It gets clearer game by game he's not the right man for us. We're just a nothing team under him. No style. No identity. No clear plan of how to play the game. Where are we going with him? I'll tell you where - absolutely ****ing nowhere. Probably to the championship if he stays in charge.
