  1. Hard to see how you could select Nelson after last week…..his time will come again…..decent 11, just need to perform….
  2. Actually think this is our best eleven…..
  3. It has alway amazes me it costs me virtually the same to watch Boston United as it does Leicester City……similarly, nobody? Suggests increasing Season ticket prices as a token to improving club finances., despite all the comment from the AKP ( Anti-King Power) Not saying we are worth more than Boston, or that we should pay more but both interesting aspects of where we currently find ourselves….
  4. Inevitably going to be an interesting process, but let’s start with when do we get the email regards next season, pricing of, and not knowing who will be here owners, players & manager, or what division we’ll be in what the club will put forward….I believe it was mid-March last year, and in fairness the club have generally been good with offer pricing, last year more games (23 over 19) same price extra month (I may be wrong), I am awaiting it with interest….flexible season ticket (10 game, Monthly) thoughts anyone Might be in the wrong section, but it can’t be far away
  5. I still am amazed, that the manager, who is judged on the team and it’s result, don’t recommend the players they want. Seems like they can’t win, if shite is signed by a third party, they then get fired…..which is unlike any other organisation I have worked in. In short Rudkin has signed ALL the players and three managers have been fired as a result of letting him do so…..are we sure this is correct?
  6. We don’t know the deal though or do you? Southampton I would guess are paying a % of his wages….saving them from paying a player in full til the end of the season…..
  7. Offload over £40-£90k (although Winks might be staying) sign players £20-£35k per week, times it by 52 (weeks) You do the maths……
  8. £9m? But like I say we don’t really know……
  9. Said it before, players are only worth what someone will pay……add to the likely drop in the players commitment for not being allowed to go, looks a decent “business” deal……not necessarily a decent “football” deal. The same sellers have got good prices for the likes of Justin, Macareer etc ( allegedly, as nobody on here really knows….do they?)
  10. Portsmouth have a very tough run in…….right in it……
  11. Oxford winning is a decent result, come on Saints…..
  12. Few on here pleased to see him go…..Stuttgart flying…..great footballer……
  13. Yes but that doesn’t in anyway say they know nothing about football…….every supporter will have (and are entitled to) their own opinion, if you pay the price, that’s what it buys you….I have been in the ground twice this season when it was half full ( Sheff U & last night) and more noise was generated at those two games with supposed happy clappers, than most this season……
  14. Your assumption “many of the KPFC fans just don’t really know much about football” actually says more about the protesters than the people happy clapping in numbers last night. Sorry, but what is your rationale, as I cannot see where your justification for such a comment comes from….
  15. Never one to not encourage youth, I am afraid none of the Monga, Page, Aluko, Thomas(S) et Al have been anywhere near good enough/consistent/strong enough to be in the starting eleven Put them in front of a crowd that boo’s more than cheers, I would say the club is handling their progress quite well, and hopefully their time will come….
  16. I do believe that long term fans, have got older, priorities change. Easiest example is my Brother, Man United fan, now 71, never missed a game home or away, for 25 years, as he got older, the drive became too demanding(120 miles each way) the cost, as he moved to retirement became prohibitive, hasn’t been to a game for 5 years….has relinquished his season ticket.United season tickets have been in demand Switch to the Foxes,80% of our home crowd are Season ticket holders, for nigh on ten years prior to this season buying a ticket wasn’t easy, passing your season ticket has become more difficult. So when you look around the ground, or walking to the ground, what % are over 60? Add to that young people’s inability to buy tickets for ten years and as the older generation of season tickets stop going, can’t be arsed and given how the club is, they are going to struggle to replace season ticket holders who no longer go. Its likely we won’t repeat the last twelve years ( unbelievable) in the next twelve, the strong have got stronger, and it’s harder for a club like us to keep up In addition it’s is likely to be easier to buy tickets certainly for the next two years. Finally, what’s happening in the world won’t help, Emirates and Etihad are two that will suffer, but so will King Power….as reliance on Air Travel is part of their business interests. What I am saying is older fans will leave the building, younger fans, who have never got a ticket won’t replace them, particularly now, and what’s happening has a few logical reasons behind it, on top of the club being a shambles. I’ll be there for Bristol City, but an awful lot won’t…and I get it…..there is no instant fix….
  17. Alright being honest ( nothing that’s not been said on here all season) is he capable of changing it…..I’ll forget next week, but he’s got ten games after that…..
  18. Not denying second half was very poor…..only silver lining is everyone else lost and we are no worse off, and that’s despite some being in front at some point, can’t see anything from Ipswich next week, gets easier after that we can do this, encouraged by James return, think DCR can’t play where he did today….Begovic sounds like a twisted ankle, and Lascelles to replace Okoli…we haven’t had a centre forward all season…..can see Mukasa & James playing through the middle…..be nice to have Ramsay back……keep believing…..
  19. I’ll be in the ground…..
  20. I have been an unhappy clapper for a fair while…not sure what to do…..confused….
  21. One,two,three,four,five…..
  22. More about working with managers who are touted top class…..then working with people who clearly aren’t….imagine going to work everyday and thinking “This can’t be right” It clearly wasn’t in his opinion, an opinion that has value
  23. Great post…..and I should point out, he played under Poch, Jose & Conte, before getting Coops Ruud & Marti…..I can see he might notice the difference….we left our best player out for half a season, needs to play…..will be great to have a few options off the bench/play our best eleven….
  24. James,Ramsay, Vesty, Lascelles and Fatawu fit again…..two away draws, ffs it’s better than post Oxford game…….
