The team he had here was vastly better than those Marti is working with….Vardy, Wilf, a committed Winks, Dewsbury Hall, better keeper, and the rest…..no comparison….could be argued if we did (likely won’t) get up via play offs, it’s a better achievement than two years ago…..

Like I said, we don’t really know what goes on inside the club……

That’ll be why he didn’t get on Monday……a clear example of fans don’t really know what’s going on within….decent replacement required….

The Blackburn comparisons are interesting, just as they were never going to carry on signing Shearers, Sherwoods and Dalgleishes, we no longer can sign, Tielemans, Cambiasso, Huth, etc…..we are simply an unattractive proposition and only players and managers looking to develop ( ultimately to leave) their own careers will come to us….this won’t change in the short term…..in short we are employing and paying people (players) who don’t want to be here, the manager is at a club where he knows if he turns it around, his value goes up, and he’ll be off, sadly can’t see that happening due to the players he has at his disposal, and he’ll lose his job as a result…..we are in a medium/long term mess….

Great post, non league, admirable as it is, just doesn’t hold my interest…. On and off the pitch…..

For a young player, we represent a chance to become a club legend, coming from a low starting point, and he should be captain now…… need to cement his commitment now, long term solid block to build the next generation team……look at Madders, Drinkwater, Chilwell, none have kicked on (for different reasons) he could be the same….get it done

Certainly not ideal, but Daka one,Carranza nil……can’t do much worse can he? Not a reason for signing him, but it is where we are at…….

Goalkeeper plays the way the Manager wans/instructs……buck stops there….

to be fair he has had three decent games….needs pointing out yesterday, Fatawu tracked back to assist Ricky P with Philogene (pace being the issue) Thomas gets very little from Steph…..

Next three games will highlight that or not, Ramsay back will help……another 7 would be good….

And possibly keep another unhappy player ……

What is an acceptable rate?

There have been equally dark times and we are still here…..it’s what you are looking for isn’t it? New owners fresh start……if Sheffield EpWednesday is an attractive potential purchase, why are we any different?

I beg to differ, have a fantastic life LCFC have been a massive part of it….I have seen crap times at LCFC way worse than today…. (Stoke away?) perpetual victory? WTF

Always remember we won the Premier League FA Cup and Community Shield, played Champions league…..took me 50 years of watching to achieve that, and I will always be thankful to King Power for funding that, and they did. Hindsight if a wonderful thing, foresight is something you can’t buy……I’m off out…..

It’s a long while since we paid any money for players….particularly those good enough right now….Marti hasn’t signed one ( loans only) which is his only defence….Salaries are different, anyone would sign a lucrative contract, that’s the clubs fault……not the players…..club needs a plan, currently sadly drifting downwards….

Likewise I agree, but saw something second half, largely led by, Mavadidi, Fatawu, James, Thomas…..and we have a sprinkling of young talent…that was committed, passionate and worked..it will take time offload those who don’t want to be here, make James team captain, lock him in, and sign good solid players to keep us up, and push on…..as I see it the board are unclear on what they want, the Manager is the same, and the body language of the senior players tells me they are the same…it will take three seasons…..

We are where we are and have been here many many times , and oddly enough a great season in league one…..I support the club for what it is, not what division we are playing in…..we are not a Premier League club, we are a bog standard championship club, and will be for the foreseeable……Manchester City or Arsenal if you are looking for top four….

Ironically those fans (are we happy clappers?) left in the stadium for the second half made a lot more noise than those in the ground first half. Fact.

A dose of reality sadly lacking on here, we would not be able to sign anyone, not many would want to come, we are not an attractive proposition right now….and if unbelievably we did, we would be straight back down……personally I would sooner see us consolidate, get rid of points deduction, develop some good youngsters, offload those not performing, and restart next season….when we might be a club people want to join…..
