No doubt it will be the same formation and basically the same team. So, another defeat. Next. At least we have an international break after this! -
And this year's isn't?!

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Sunbury Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Can we change to the title of the thread to "three months left" now? I need something to cheer me up a bit. -
Rowett got away with selecting Ayew against Bristol City, even though he was totally ineffective and off the pace, as per. It's a huge red flag that he then decided to pick him again today. We were told before Rowett came that he liked forwards who press hard and have some pace. So why the hell is he picking Ayew?! He simply has to bin him off from the whole squad from now on. His very presence has a negative influence on the mood of the crowd as well as the team.
-
Aside from our horrific defending, the other thing that really troubles me is that we just don't take enough shots. Today we got into so many good positions around the box but then the final pass is awful, or we just take the wrong option such as passing rather than shooting. Only 9 shots in a home game against QPR is terrible. By contrast, West Brom and Blackburn both racked up 20+ shots.

1 in 7 of all the league goals they've scored this season have been against us!
-
Makes no sense at all to me. He's stopped even bothering to keep up with play.
-
Ayew again. Dear God.

Mukasa has to start in front of him from now on. Offers so much more. -

Still thought he was dreadful. Can't run and press and is not even up with play most of the time. Only 9 more games of him to suffer, assuming he'll play in every one of them, as per. -
Even that's not as bad as selecting the 2 OAPs up front.
-
Thanks, Gary.

At some point this season we're going to have to be braver in selection and approach. We need wins FFS.
-
I don't think we'll see Mukasa and James starting together under this manager. Like when Cooper never started Abdul and Stephy together.
-
Truly horrific selection. All Bristol City need to do is press up into our half and we'll be stuck. We don't have the players to play out of a press and we have zero pace in behind. This is going to go badly wrong and is the opposite of being brave. Gutted as I was initially positive about Rowett. He's now reverted to what people feared he would do.

Underperformer of the Season – the nominees
Sunbury Fox replied to MC Prussian's topic in Leicester City Forum
Wow, that is truly appalling. -
My impression was that he was utterly terrible yesterday so just checked his stats, which confirmed it - 47% pass accuracy and lost possession 26 times out of 56 touches.

In terms of the difference between pre-season expectations and output on the pitch, it’s Stephy by a country mile. Not having KDH running about 15k per game alongside him, giving him constant support and options, has exposed his limitations and revealed him to be a very one dimensional player. -
Only 5 years? More like 25!

Fatawu, Reid and Stephy were all pitiful as an attacking threat. -
Rowett must be braver in team selection and approach in this one.

I think people are saying it's a good point as before the game our rivals, in fact everyone, thought we'd lose. But the performance on the ball second half was criminally bad, I agree.
-
Even when we get a good away point at a team in the race for autos it somehow feels totally flat because we've now gone an unimaginable 30 games without a clean sheet and are still in the relegation zone. Plus our quality on the ball in the second half was National League level. Not at all confident we'll win either of the 2 home games coming up. The confidence and quality just isn't there.
-
Don't do it to yourself. Best to expect that we'll be 1 down within 10-15 minutes.
