  1. As expected, this is shaping up to be a very long, hard season in the CC.
  2. Another middle order collapse after a promising start. 4 down for last 60 runs.
  3. Shame we've gifted them 2 wickets but they've beaten the bat a lot so the score is probably a fair reflection of play. Don't have massive confidence in the two at the crease now to build on the platform provided by the openers.
  4. That's without doubt the highlight of this season from a Leicester perspective.
  5. That video of him celebrating the winning goal against Villa in 'that' season was legendary!
  6. According to AI (so probably b*llocks), L1 clubs have autonomy over the number of seats they sell to season ticket holders. The only mandatory requirement seems to be that we give away fans up to 10% of the capacity for every game. Can't see many L1 clubs taking up an allocation of 3.2k, however, so I guess some of these tickets will become available to home fans if demand is there. That said, we'll be a 'big day out' venue for most L1 clubs, especially for weekend games.
  7. We need him to have a great World Cup to push up his price.
  8. For people saying F*rest aren't lucky, who else would get to a Europa League final and have f*cking Braga as opponents with a chance to get in the CL? Like getting Malmo in the European Cup final back in the day.
  9. A lead of 150 might have given us a chance with the amount of turn on offer.
  10. Would be a great signing. So it won't happen with the morons currently in charge.
  11. Very odd game, this. Losing 6 wickets for 60 in the first innings was bad enough but losing 6 for 32 this afternoon after totally battering them to reach 99-0 at about a run a ball is really poor. I know they're a good team but it feels disappointing to lose comfortably, as I'm sure we will. After all, they even lost one of their key bowlers to injury. Some big lessons to learn moving forward eg not putting teams into bat when the conditions are perfect for batting, for a start! Disappointing to see that Glamorgan are set for a victory. Need to make sure we stay in touch with the other teams likely to be at the bottom.
  12. Rehan will come back at 3, I guess.
  13. Threw away so many points in the last 8 games. Won 6 of the 8 on xG. The draws against Watford, Sheff Wed, Preston and Hull were particularly frustrating. In all of those games we were comfortably the better team but couldn't get over the line.
  14. In terms of attacking options, I'd be looking at the following: Wareham (Exeter) Tolaj (Plymouth) Ballard (Orient) Louie Barry (currently on loan to Stockport) Keillor-Dunn (not playing much at Wrexham)
  15. We weren't battered today. We were the better team on every attacking metric. But we absolutely shouldn't be keeping Rowett on.
  16. That decision yesterday looking worse by the minute. Absolutely hate losing to these.
  17. This season really has to be the most miserable ever. Fully expecting Derby to go up with Cov, and F*rest to qualify for the UCL, given how things have gone over the last 9 months.
  18. Should be at least 1 up so all set up for a 1-0 defeat. In the last 8 games or so we've missed so many good chances.
  19. Good comeback. Bit worrying if the wicket is now doing more.
  20. Was a really top level player at his peak. He was especially brilliant in the back end of the 2018/19 season after Rodgers arrived and the following season before doing his ACL in the last game before the Covid lock down. Enzo used him very cleverly in the 2023/24 season but his decline has become more and more apparent since then. It's a real shame his time with us has ended like this with no proper appreciation for a player who was a key part of our last top quality PL team. Wish him well for the future, has always been a big favourite of mine, even if it's been painful to watch him this season.
  21. Under pressure just to save the game from this position. Can't wait to hear the rationale for the decision at the toss.
  22. As others have said, don't get the obsession with putting sides into bat in these conditions.
  23. FFS. Imagine getting to a Europa League final and getting fvcking Braga in the final. FFS.
  24. Anyone know how many tickets we've sold for this waste of time?
  25. Buying not 1, but 2, 'past it' wingers, who were never more that PL squad players at their peak, within days of each other in summer 2024 really was the apogee of beloved Jon's "strategic squad building". So far, at least!
