They have zero chance of winning the PL next season, and if they they fail to do so he'll be sacked.
-
5 years? That's another massive compensation payment they'll be paying out in about 5 months.
-
The gap between the bottom 6 and the top clubs is going to be bigger than ever next season - Ross County compared to Celtic big. Not a good look for the so called best league in the world.

Just can't see a relatively big name like Potter being interested, sadly. Our budget for the PL is going to be tiny, we're probably going to have to sell our best player(s) in the summer to avoid further PSR penalties in future and we're likely to get a big points deduction next season which will make staying up a real long shot. Best we can hope for is another young up and coming manager looking to make a step up and therefore willing to grab the opportunity even if they know the circumstances will be tough. I'd much rather that than going for tried and failed managers with previous PL experience, like Parker.

Looks like bowling first has backfired again. Only 1 wicket in the session and now Labuschagne is in. Could get messy again. -

See we've won the toss and decided to field again! -
When all this speculation first broke I thought it was a joke but it really seems that it could be true. Sick of being asset stripped by the vile Chelsea. Not sure it is a great gig for Enzo at all. Yeah, he'll get paid loads but he's unlikely to win anything given the competition and he won't be given more than 5 minutes to build a team. Money could be tighter at Chelsea going forward as well, given that they have made a million signings over the last 2 years and put them all on 9 year contracts. If he is going, I hope it's all sorted quickly and that the club surprises us all and actually has someone good lined up to replace him very soon.

It's a 'yes' from me too. Seems like an excellent tactician who moulds the style of play/ system around the strengths of the players he has at his disposal. Looks to be his at in games management too.

Spot on. If people want to leave Brighton they just them go and wish them luck. No point being held to ransom or forcing people to stay who don't want to. The difference between us and Brighton, however, is that they appear to have succession plans for key employees and we end up thrashing about hopelessly when someone leaves.

Everton should be relegated for that awful "ooooo" chant alone.
-
This has to be the last exciting last day ever. Only thing outstanding is who gets 5th, 6th and 7th!
-
2-0 Man City. All done after 17 minutes.
-
This season's bottom 3 have comfortably the fewest points between them of any bottom 3 since the PL was established. A combined total of just 66 points is shockingly bad.
-
Looks like @Pub breath has returned on the quiet to post the 1 vote so far for Leeds!
-
F*rest staying up by default.
-
Did you mean to say: "Actually think Everton getting relegated, after their continuous off-field issues for years now, would be good for the PL as everyone is sick of seeing their hideous hoofball and listening to that awful 'ooooo' chant sung by their fans on the rare occasions when they are not booing something."
-
Good, let's hope they let Luton win next week to keep open the chance of F*rest being flushed.
-
Exactly. The games against Southampton this season are the template for how we will need to play in the PL. We have some serious pace and dribbling ability on the counter in the likes of Fatawu, Mavididi and KDH. That's what we need to utilise. I won't lie, though, the last few months of this season have been hugely underwhelming on the whole; we somehow lost more games than we won of the last 14 matches, including against a series of teams on the brink of relegation. If Enzo and his staff are so thorough and hard working, and we have by far the biggest budget in the league, this really should not have happened and it does not bode well for next season.
-
Has there ever been a worse bottom 3 than this season?
-
Forest safe then.
-
KDH???
-
Love these knitted versions of our players, but the Big 6 can do one anyway!
-
God, Everton are a stain on the PL with their awful hoofball style of play and that truly dreadful 'ooooo' chant their fans sing.
-
Just put the Luton v Everton prematch build up on, only to find them showing a clip of Gary Neville interviewing Erik Ten Hag! WTF? This is the sort of thing I really hate about the PL.
