The drop off in performances and results since Christmas or even two months ago has been fairly shocking. We were in the position to waltz up to promotion even with a reasonable drop in results, but this has all the hallmarks of a bottle job from the Brendan Rodger’s school of management. But the consequence this time could set us back a decade or more because at the moment these next 5 games determine which league we will get a points deduction in next season. You have to take a chance in the PL because the EFL have demonstrated they’re trigger happy on points deductions and will throw the library at us - and I fear it could be back to League One.

**** it - if we don’t go up and clear the debts we’ll just get a massive points deduction from the EFL which will either consolidate us as a Championship side or we’ll get relegated and have to start again in League One. if we do go up we’ll get a massive points deduction, would be a miracle to stay up with the likely outcome of going down and consolidating as a Championship team. Meanwhile let’s all pass round the King Power kool-aid and let Top mismanage stuff and give him the benefit of the doubt because his Dad was very competent.

I think he likes Faes because he can bring the ball forward, and this is something Coady cannot do. However, this stage of the season is more about characters and leadership than sticking to plan A unquestionably. Coady is pretty good at that and yet isn’t getting a sniff.

I agree that Yunus and Praet were good changes yesterday. Enzo needs to trust in the bench more, because otherwise players will and possibly are burning out (like Ndidi yesterday).

Ndidi was good today I thought, but looked leggy from 65-70 mins onwards. Need to wrap him in cotton wool though as he’s critical for this team - just look at the win ratio when he plays (particularly with Ricardo!).

He’s made some positive changes in the last few games. Yunus and Praet did well when they came on, particularly Yunus’ cross for the goal. My only possible comment was that he should have made those changes 10 mins earlier. Fatawu wasn’t on it, and Wilf looked knackered.

I bought some guest tickets for tomorrows game, and everyone’s fine and got their tickets - except for the usual suspect useless ****wit who claims not have had it emailed. Does anyone know if I as the purchaser can log in and reissue them? Do I have to phone the club up?

Exactly. As someone said earlier, why not go in with £30k - still a sizeable increase in salary. Combination of rank stupidity and agents flexing their muscles I guess.
