I’ve often wondered if people the other side of the turnstile actually check and whether they can be bothered to check

Yes to the card, and will pay the fee begrudgingly. I like the flexibility having a card affords, but as others have pointed out it’s almost an additional charge to be able to ‘forward’ it to non-members. I also feel the rise is ok given it’s been frozen for quite a while.

This must happen, but the club must not let the person who did the mural on the way up to C2 anywhere near it - the so called ‘wonky eyed Vardy’.

I saw a recovery truck on the motorway on my way home from a firm called ‘Enzo’. It had a posh looking car on the back as well, so I’m taking that as a good sign from the boss that we have recovered and are on our way up. The lack of changes frustrated me today, and everyone around me. We also got very lucky as they missed about 3 or 4 great chances. We’re in a strong position now though… what a ridiculous club we are. Always doing it the hard way.

West Brom (H) 2-1 Post-Match Thread

Hamza heroics. On my maths if we win one more, Leeds need to win all their last 3 to overtake us. -
Do we need to win this one then?

sounds like places where David Brent went repping. In all seriousness though it’s a joke, and just yet another attempt to skew English football further to benefit the PL and top 6 clubs. There is no long term thinking anywhere these days, it’s all short term thinking to make a quick buck (sort of why the countries in such a state, but that’s another issue…). The more I think about it the more I’m not fussed about getting back there - but then obviously we need the money and clearly I want to see us to compete at the highest possible level. Very conflicting, but that they make it such an exclusive club is shameful really.

Is that one of Rudkin’s many other jobs?
-
Has anyone seen anything in Cody Gakpo? We were linked with him once, and when we played PSV I was looking forward to seeing him and Madueke (another one we were linked with). But having seen them in more detail in the PL I think both are bang average.

One might say, King.

Surely one of the easier ones to shift. Not on high wages (or is he…), young and decent.

Comes across as a massive tit

Because it wasn’t a penalty

Funny you mention 5G - I was sold a 5G phone a few months ago and not had 5G once. Must be a global conspiracy, or that I live in a rural area with no 5G coverage. Not sure which. But re Ipswich, hard to deny they’ve had some serious luck this season.

Exactly. It’s a joke

Ric Flair Live & Direct on BSLB Podcast

Great listen and excellent points well made, and summarises where a lot of us are. What a mess the club are in on and off the pitch. -
Honestly think there might be a pro Ipswich agenda. We had some astounding decisions - one a stonewall pen against them - not given. And I’ve seen a lot of other dubious decisions that go their way late on that they profit from.

Oh oh oh he's magic you know.........

The bald beauty -
What channel is this on?

Useful that neither can take full points on the final day. Might help take one or both out of the equation, and if Saints don’t win their 2 games in hand hopefully they can prevent Leeds for winning.
-
Very optimistic! I messaged a friend who is a Leeds fan to ask what’s happening with them, and the response reminded me of us - they look leggy, out of ideas and are vulnerable on the transition. I don’t know about Ipswich, but the same wouldn’t surprise me either. We need to take advantage of the one thing we have left - playing at home for 3 out of last 4. It will be interesting how teams set up against for the run in - because they have more to offer going forward and could be expansive. If they sit deep like Millwall and Plymouth did we could be in trouble though. Not sure how points are needed - reckon 7 will do it?
-
Enzo back in! LOL WTF. So basically the position before last nights game still stands - win our game in hand and we’re 4 clear of them. And another game gone. What on earth is going on.
-
Agreed. That was a problem under Rodger’s wasn’t it, and contributed to the general malaise and staleness all over the pitch.
-
Nice bloke and all that, but he shouldn’t play for us again or at the very least spend some considerable time away from the first 11. His confidence is shot, and at this points it’s probably not fair on him to start to be honest. Enzo needs to see that.

Didn’t Brendan get rid of the sports psychologist?
