  1. It’s a very poor league this year if they’re top of the league. But shit and fragile are we
  2. Was he not well offside?
  3. Luke Thomas wouldn’t look out of place in my 7 aside with old and overweight blokes
  4. Here we go… 🍼 incoming
  5. This looks like one of the few occasions where we’ve actually prepared and have a clear and effective game plan
  6. Where has this been all season?
  7. I’ll be annoyed at whatever the outcome of this is. If we get hammered then… but if we win it will show WE CAN win under pressure. I doubt it though, I expect we’ll shit our pants and be behind inside 10 mins.
  8. Another loan to buy. This is not our first rodeo. Is this his last year or is he under contract for another season after this one?
  9. Thank god he’s not coming here. I may have boycotted for good if that happened. Actually… sign him up!
  10. I may have said this before but Page (like Nelson) glides around the pitch. He always manages to find space and he always looks calm and composed. Will be a top talent. I hope he rises along with us because he’ll be deserve better pretty quickly.
  11. I’ve always said Patson Daka is lethal. Blokes a goal machine.
  12. I do wonder at this point whether we’ve bought an impersonator
  13. Yes as soon as moved away from the model and tried to compete and pay top top wages it was never sustainable. It was too quick and the foundations weren’t solid enough. Built on sand etc.
  14. A dynasty would have been excellent and really using the success to take a step up to bring a top 8 outfit , but I would have just taken the end to being a yo-yo team. A reasonably solid PL team who is never in the conversation about relegation - the odd European campaign, but mostly midtable. Its actually really quite hard for a PL side who’s been there 2-3 years to be relegated now, let alone one who’d been there best part of a decade and had riches associated with what we’d done. Quite remarkable really.
  15. Their stock is probably lower than it would have been had they rotted in the reserves 🤣
  16. Presumably the KPFC folk would have no hesitation in accepting Aiyawatt’s son taking over in the year 2060 even if he had no experience in football and poor business acumen. But it’s ok because he’s part of Srivaddhanaprabha dynasty.
  17. Oh now that is interesting and in depth!
  18. Unfortunately and I hate to say it, but observe who many of these people are at games and online. The short of it as that many are thick and ignorant people. They are not bright, intelligent and reasoned folk. Again I hate to say it, but I’m willing to bet many indicators of intelligence (education, better jobs and such like) are held in abundance by the likes of us because our views are based on criticality and in-depth analysis of facts and trends. On the other hand, KPFC views are based on blind or blinkered loyalty to someone whose dad did much better than he did. As someone has said, if Aiyawatt bought us in November 2018 I think many people would take a different view - but you’re right people seem to think he’s beyond reproach because his father died in such a tragic way. That in itself makes my point for me. Park any emotion to one side, and objectively no reasonable person can conclude Aiyawatt has run a successful operation or a tight ship. The sorts of people that don’t understand that you can think the father did well, but the son didn’t. Like you have to be an all in card carrying KP fan boy because Aiyawatt is related to Vichai. No thanks, life and success is much more nuanced than that.
  19. It’s this sort of thing that the happy clappers don’t appreciate or probably don’t even think about.
  20. Perhaps Rudkin will interview himself by standing in the mirror and wear a fake moustache when he answers his own questions in his persona of Ron Judkin (am sure I’ve heard that name before…).
  21. Pay the most, run the least. It’s a stat that reflects what many have said about arrogance, laziness, lack of effort and fight. Truly pathetic. It really makes me think about boycotting the rest of the season let alone just yesterday !
  22. This sort of goes under the radar a bit with Rudkin’s overall squad building, where most attention goes to the silly contracts handed out willy nilly. But the composition of the squad is also unbalanced. You’ve highlighted the left back issue, but it’s evident up front and also right back where Choudhury fills in occasionally. It’s almost like the person in charge of squad building and long term development of the footballing side isn’t very good at his job 🧐
  23. I agree with this. If we won’t give Aluko regular time in that position (and why wouldn’t we?) then it screams back 3. Teams often go to a back 3 when the CBs and defensive unit isn’t good enough, and ours clearly isn’t. Bring in Souttar to play with Nelson and Okoli. Then Ricardo and Aluko and wing back? Can Aluko play wing back?
