Man City have broke the rules like no other club in the English leagues. There is no precedent, and yet they are arguably too big to go after in a way that is fair and proportionate to how other clubs have been dealt with. Points deductions and stripping them of honours will make their product a joke. Having said that if the PL aren’t seen to do justice what is left of their integrity is in tatters. So they’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t, and they will clearly go for the lesser punishment that supposedly maintains their product but irreparably damages what domestic fans think of them.

Does anyone else think that the pre match montage is becoming a problem? Of course the PL title win was epic and the greatest achievement in the history of sport, but it epitomises KP and KPFC attitude of living in the past. I actually don’t think it helps the match day atmosphere either as we get a reminder of the heights, and then a few minutes later we see the lowest point - the likes of Ayew stroll around who’s just been given the squad number of our greatest ever player who is featured so much in the montage. I don’t think Forest brainwash their fans with the past with pre match videos like this, and I know to some extent it’s different as we are still owned by the same family, but for various reasons it’s causing more harm than it’s worth imo.

Thankfully the opposite seems to be case mostly though, at least for me

Can we afford this bloated restructure? Does Rudkin’s contract have a relegation clause where he loses a % of his salary? If Jordan Ayew is the answer, what is the question?

But we’ve never been a yo yo club between the second and third tier. If Aiyawatt bought the club - and didn’t inherit it - would you accept this decline and how quickly it’s happened? Just look at what has happened, and the reasons why. Just out of interest, what do you think the problem is?

Lascelles has to come in now (though Nelson hardly covered himself in glory today but he offers so much more), or a back 3 which is what usually happens when the centre backs are crap.

Do you realise what the operating budget is for League One compared to this level? There is no way we could get close to it. For a start we won’t offload who we need to because we pay them too much. If we go down the best case scenario is that we do a Sunderland and stay down there for a while and set new lows, the worst case is admin, points deductions and League Two.

People who think relegation will mean KP will more likely go - is there any evidence for that? Aiyawatt is too stupid to realise this is all beyond him.

Along with Choudhury, Thomas, Daka, BCDR, he should never play for the club again. There are probably others to add to that list. They are all brain dead and pointless. Do you think any of them, and others, are embarrassed? They are so over paid relative to performance it’s unbelievable. Is there any modicum of professional pride?

I felt today if we won we’d probably go onto get enough points, but this group are simply incapable of backing up a good result. The manner of the goals conceded today was disgraceful. All gifted wrapped by a lovely bow. This is 100% relegation. We’ve all seen it, and we know what it looks like. But this is the worst by a mile. Most of these players were signed to compete in the PL, some to compete in a team playing in Europe at the top end of the PL. The imbalance, the lack of motivation, having to rely year on year on players who are in the final months of their contract… we all thought going down to this level would be a chance to reset with the kids, well that’s now going to happen in League One. And frankly as a fan base we deserve this. Why are we so passive? The only accountability around the club for years has been those joining the protests. I was disappointed today the protest numbers were noticeably less than the last one.

Is this contract extension preparing for life in League One?
