Realistic Managerial Replacements
wardyfox86 replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Imagine pitching the club to a manager. "Yes, you DO need to score 3 or 4 goals a game to get anything from it because our back 5 are competition winners, but on the bright side you have Jordan Ayew and Patson Daka up front." -

I thought Scotland were excellent for the most part, in fairness. Only Watt being expensive. For England, a few silly dismissals from the usual suspects, but mainly a comfortable chase. -
It's hard to overstate the insignificance of this fixture. Get through the game with only a minor groin injury to Ayew and that'll be all that matters.

Southampton v Leicester - FA CUP - Saturday 14th Feb 3pm

Mukasa I believe is Cup tied. I probably wouldn't risk Lascelles for this, maybe 30 off the bench. And a bit lightweight in the middle, I'd play Skipp and move Page up. I don't think I'll bother following, let alone watching. I'm annoyed that we now have a cup game that nobody, not even the players, will probably care about. -

Terribly put. But surely they just mean that, in the circumstances, the European fixtures are far less important and should be used to see what is required for the league. I still obviously hope Fenerbache stuff 'em though. -

Don't think they've even battled back, Scotland were always going to have a spell, they have a solid enough middle. Poor batting trying to accelerate once they lost Berrington and Bruce. -

Redemption for the spinners, 2 massive wickets. -
What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?

Just completed all stakes on all decks, on Balatro. Black deck took me as long as the other 14 decks combined, I swear. Great pick up and play game, but you can also lose hours on it. -

Solid start for England. Could be wrapped up fast. -
Realistic Managerial Replacements
wardyfox86 replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
I bet they're moving through names and getting knocked back plenty quickly. People in football cottoned on to how shambolic we were, long before media and fans did. Look at Stowell and Cleverley "chatting with Nigel" and reminiscing. Managers talk and I'm sure other conversations have happened between people that have had experience with our hierarchy and word gets around, that's putting aside the state on the pitch. -

I'd imagine it's significantly easier to get things done quickly when you actually have a pot to piss in, and something tangible to offer down the line. -
Van Gerwen starting to come back into form it seems, although Rock averaging less than 80 against him. Not sure how Bunting has got himself in the PL this year.

3-0 maybe not, but I can guarantee more than a few saw it at 3-1.

Pipes calling for the club to be sold. He's freelance so that's as good as you'll get from BBC I'm afraod
-
Fair play to the lad. If the club made me a millionaire and kept picking me (albeit I'm a better fullback than Luke Thomas and I have crippling club foot) I'd have resigned long ago.
-
0.49 xG. Clearly they have taken into account that it was Dake running through to a pretty much open goal
-
Has Thomas been on the neck weights this week? Some mighty headers today so far.
-
Just DO NOT CONCEDE before half time...
-
I'm managing about 10 seconds every 3 minutes or so between the buffering. Missed both goals...

It's even more damning of the current state to see the ground that empty without any organised protest. Sloooooowly, the tide is turning for match-goers too.

Top be a business owner, no matter how big, sometimes you have to be cold and tough. You have to hold people, some you might like, accountable. I've learnt that the hard way myself. If he can't do that then yes, he is at fault for everything.
