  1. I'd forgotten about the rave reviews it was getting from the middle-class rags at one point. I worked at the Springfield Sainsbury's as a teenager for years during the early-mid 2000s and it was just nowheresville. High street littered with slowly dying chain stores and a bunch of old man pubs with a few independents here and there. This year was the first time I'd been back properly in many years and the transformation is pretty stark although a number of the St. Mary's Road restaurants are STILL going after all this time. Enigma too.
  2. Got about thirty seconds in to realise that yes, I was indeed correct the first time around. The comments on the videos confirm. Ragebait and poverty / trauma porn exploiting vulnerable people for views under the guise of being some sort of "journalist." He's a ghoul.
  3. This just looks like right wing ragebait.
  4. Market Harborough seems to have absolutely rode out the changes mind. Last time I was there on Saturday the town centre was absolutely rammo. The larger high street franchises seem to have all disappeared and almost every shop is an independent, boutique or small upmarket chain and there are loads more cafes, small eateries and bars than there used to be. However, I suppose it has the demographic of people who can afford to support them. Definitely a rare example of a place that seems to have actually improved.
  5. As someone who spends quite a bit of time in Northampton, its decline is far worse than Leicester's. The town centre is post-apocalyptic.
  6. Kasper in pretty much any match from 16-17 Champo League campaign. He was an absolute mutant in the onion bag vs. Copenhagen and Sevilla if I recall.
  7. Look nicer but some of the animations are 100% recycled. FM24 HD remaster with better lighting. For something that was supposed to have been built again from scratch this all looks very familiar. Then again, I suppose it's what they've done with the backend that counts... Not that I really trust SI with making wholesale changes. It's felt for about 10 years that they've absolutely hit a ceiling with this.
  8. 14 year contract, £170,000 p/w. Good backup for Stolarczyk.
  9. Nah man, I will definitely at some point but I’m trying to concentrate on my hobbies without the distraction of a ****ing excellent game so decided to leave it for now.
  10. Radio w@nker I love that he's a Serie A legend before even playing a game.
  11. In my lifetime, probably Tater Peeler. MoN's legendary side was probably coming to the natural end of its cycle, but he completely dismantled it, signed some absolute dogshit, AND massively underperformed with what he had. Holloway was a shit manager who made some honking signings but it's difficult to say how much of that was down to Mandaric's interference - it's become very apparent when hearing from managers in that era that he thought of himself as a Chairman, DoF and Manager all in one. Van Nistelrooy was just pathetic and absolutely needs to be in the discussion. Rodgers is a **** for what he eventually became. His behaviour was disgusting, but it's obviously not him.
  12. Hollow Knight: Silksong is out today. Probably one of the most anticipated and memed games ever. I don't often buy games on release day but I'm tempted.
  13. Shame. Probably ended up as someone's driveway.
  14. In which case it'll be a replica. They said on here they would try to recreate it if the original couldn't be found, which I assume it couldn't.
  15. Are you sure they actually managed to find it? They were genuinely making posts on here asking on here for information on its whereabouts a few years ago. If so, **** the flat development IMO, the club should be doing everything to get their hands on it to incorporate it into the KP expansion plans - if it happens. It's an important piece of our heritage and the club could be doing more acknowledgement of our history before 2010.
  16. Yeah, it's an entirely different game. Gaming's greatest redemption story IMO. Outside of the core gameplay loop which largely remains intact, here's almost TOO much to do in the game now, it can be overwhelming to know where to start. I revisit it most years and I'm always drawn in for a few dozen more hours. I haven't tried the latest update yet, but a Starfield-style ship-builder which you can share with mates sounds great.
  17. The club will always be ****ing idiotic for not retaining anything from Filbert Street. The historic 1920s Members' Stand turnstyles should absolutely have been kept and repurposed somehow - even if it formed part of the grounds around the KP. Pretty sure someone from the developers of the Filbo flats came on here years ago asking if anyone had any information as to its location as they wanted to incorporate it into the redeveloped site. Instead it was just lost. Bonkers the club don't seem know what happened to it.
  18. Would love this but a company that effectively ceased trading in 1993 might struggle to cough up the necessary funds.
  19. Linehan's unhinged, sadly, and not the only person to become radicalised on a particular issue via the cesspit that is Twitter. Losing his wife and kids wasn't enough. Losing most of his friends, career and reputation wasn't enough. Has completely and utterly ruined his own life over his stance on this. If he wants prison, give him prison. Maybe he'll get the help he needs. .
  20. When did you last play it?
  21. @AjcW is your go to for this. There's a thread here discussing it at length. But this is LCFC we're talking about, so yeah - Occam's razor and all that.
  22. Quite nice to see the shirt without shit logos plastered all over it. Either do the right thing and give the space to a charity - which won't happen - or leave it blank. Refreshing to have fans around the ground who aren't walking advertising hoardings for some **** scam betting company.
  23. Yeah, but the sheer amount of dogshit international games has absolutely decimated any sense of enthusiasm for the national teams matches outside of major tournaments. Watching international games SHOULD be an occasion to look forward to, instead we're guaranteed to be served up 90 minutes of players jogging around half-arsing it in some of the most dull football spectacles you're likely to see.
  24. Far too many utterly pointless international games. As you say - way too early in the season for this borefest. It just kills any excitement and momentum. Just as fans are getting into the season and want to see their new signings after the deadline day they've got to wait until this nonsense is over.
  25. Mods maybe shut this down for a while as this thread has gone to shit and people are just being cunty.
