Don’t know about other clubs, but we excel at making it as frustrating as possible - and Goodison is typically the prime example (the club have confirmed that all lower tier need to be sold first). I understand why they do it for some evening KOs (where there’s a doubt over us fulfilling our allocation), but there seems no logic to doing it for Sat 3pm. The only thing I can think of is that selling in smaller batches makes it easier for the staff to locate the actual tickets before posting…??

Everton Away - Sat 5th November 17:30

Got Jim to thank for this, always the voice of reason. The club were concerned that they won't sell out and will be landed with the resultant expense. No chance in my opinion, there's just too much demand for away tickets further down the priority system, even if those with higher numbers pass up the opportunity to go... -
Rennes Away (Travel Plans)

Sport Options told me on Weds that the plane is booked, which means they're now committed to the trip regardless of take up. Plane was half full at the time. -
Had a good chat with Sport Options today. A possible day trip remains on the cards (likely E Mids to Aarhus, then coach), but a decision is unlikely to be made for another 2-3 weeks. Apparently museums and theatres are closed to visitors in Denmark and, with it being the winter break over there, SO want to reserve judgment until they've got a clearer idea whether there's likely to be any changes in restrictions. They should have a better idea at that time whether a last-minute match cancellation remains a possibility (this has already affected them), and whether City even get an allocation. As things stand, they do have a flight on standby, but it remains very much a waiting game...

Thanks for posting, very informative. For an apparently civilised nation, some of this beggars belief. Was seriously considering going, but can’t help thinking “what’s the point?”..,

I emailed them yesterday, but they say it's "very unlikely" that they'll organise a trip for this one. They pointed to the fact that VISA requirements were waived for the 2018 World Cup and the grand prix, but that approach hasn't been taken for European club matches historically. Looks a non-starter...

Ignore the Leeds comment - mind playing tricks!

Throw in Leeds 4-1 and Birmingham 2-0 pre-season. If we avoid defeat tonight there’s a strong argument in saying it’s our most successful kit ever.

Yes it is, but the shop need to quarantine your shirt for 72 hrs before you’ll get it back. £6 for one badge, and they’ll throw in the Bia Saigon logo on the other shoulder for free if you want it.
-
Yes. You'll apparently be given a bus number when you board so that everyone returns to the same one. All buses have toilets, apparently no service station stop on the way (don't know about the way back). Info via LCFC Help.

Interesting that the consent form that we've had to complete has three conditions of stadium entry: 1. Sign the form 2. Take a test within 48 hrs of KO 3. Provide evidence of a negative result No mention of having to comply with any travel arrangements. The very fact that the govt thinks that it can spoil the day out for approx 15% of the crowd just because of where they live seems to be very wrong. Struggling to think of any other walk of life where such measures are deemed acceptable. ERP Consent Form - Formstack.pdf

I was at Malta v Sweden last week, he came on as sub and really impressed - albeit in a fairly average Sweden side. Not for one minute suggesting he'd be a natural replacement for Vardy, but he'd be of interest.

Everton away on 4th April will move, Grand National day.

Too easy. Romeo Challenger's a dead ringer for Winston White.

Echo the comments about Dortmund being disappointing as a city. Ground unimpressive from outside, but better once inside. Tickets will be at a premium though - you either pay the price or you don't go. Personally much more impressed with Leverkusen's ground, and wish we'd have spent longer in Dusseldorf - seemed a great City.

Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but spotted some important info today for anyone looking to travel by train via London to this game. The attachment to the original tweet suggests that trains will be diverted to Littlehampton. Having looked into it, trains appear to go to Barnham first, and a direct train can then be caught from there to Brighton. Only a rough calculation, but I reckon the change and additional journey time could amount to an extra 70-90 minutes.

Riyad Mahrez - The great Artist
Elsie Ephsey replied to The whole world smiles's topic in Leicester City Forum
I really hope he doesn't go, but if he doesn't want to be here so be it. Aside from his velvet touch, I think the thing I'll miss most is his feint inside and the slide-rule pass to Vardy that inevitably follows. Just not last season, granted. It's been a pleasure watching him and, at his best, I've enjoyed it more than any other City player in the 40+ years that I've been watching them. -
