  1. Our best referee back in the day - World Cup final 1974
  2. Barely the biggest team in Nottingham …..
  3. Phew - unless it’s something like leprosy …..
  4. Let’s hope so
  5. Cracks very much papered over by West Ham and brightons poor forward play
  6. WTF is wrong with mads this is our season in the headlights more than six weeks out and surely we’re guaranteed down
  7. A concussed Alan young also ……
  8. Forget this game how long will mads be out for ????
  9. Really not hopeful
  10. The same as the minteh is doing at brighton …….
  11. I mean we won’t get his true value if we’re relegated
  12. Depends if we’re relegated
  13. Surprised that ange publicly called out Werner after yesterday. that kind of thing doesn’t usually go down well in the dressing room (unless the players don’t like Werner in which case you’ve a problem )
  14. The detail on security allotment is now visible seems we made it possible to issue £195m security into shares dec 22 and £76m apr 23. That’s from secured debt to shares. I think we knew that KingPower had converted the 195m but I hadn’t seen anything about the 76m. It may not have happened - it’s just authorisation for the directors to do it. The fact they’ve filed it makes me think it did happen. I’m pretty sure that the debt was owed to KP. If they’ve converted all that to shares then does that mean top is still in control ? unless they are a different share class. thinking about the sorting out that’s clearly been going on with documentation at companies house, I wonder if this is advice received from the lawyers that if we end up in a big legal confrontation with the PL or EFL, it won’t look great if their legal people are able to point out basic paperwork that still wasn’t updated over the past decade and what that might indicate about our respect for rules and regs ….
  15. We don’t know RVN’s injury terminology yet when rodgers said a couple weeks it was at least six
  16. Must be Jayden Joseph (right back and midfield - 18 y o )
  17. Clearly he doesn’t see skipp as a starter if everyone is fit. Guess it’s up to skipp to change his mind
  18. Maybe luckily they don’t have any decent wingers 😄
  19. Forgot about big Kim. (And someone else cos you’ve not included Iran - I think I didn’t count the usa 😄) the ‘sharers’ are unable to drop anything without one of the nine effectively doing it. I can’t see any of the security council members dropping one (that not because they are sc members btw) I don’t see anyone dropping one adjacent to their country either. Not sure that n korea are interested in dropping one. they just want everyone to stay out of their self interest most likely would be Iran or Israel because striking either nation would not badly affect the sender with fall out. But Iran isn’t nuking Israel because there are 2 million Muslim Arabs living in Israel and a further 5 million in Gaza/West Bank. It’s a v small area. and Israel have access to conventional weapons that mean they don’t need to nuke Iran to achieve their goals. So I’d say it’s most likely that a non state actor would be responsible. (Perhaps with the assistance of a ‘crazy state’)
  20. You are our senior spurs hater sylo ………. No one is more senior than you in this respect
  21. Depends who drops it, where they drop it, and what they drop if you accept that Iran are pretty much there then I think there are potentially 8 ‘crazy nations’. (Unless some non state entity manages to get hold of one like in a 60’s James bond film)
  22. surely if they asked 6 months ago and 120 business’ replied stating support for Labour and now only 28 will do that then the headline isn’t unreasonable. A backer is surely someone who replies positively without needing to be prodded several times and still not answering. clearly city AM have an agenda here but having initially thought the same as Urban, I read the article and then changed my mind somewhat. Headlines will always be headlines (from all sides).
  23. City AM would make the argument that not answering (despite many requests) would imply that they no longer have support. It doesn’t mean that they are anti - just that they are no longer prepared to publicly support. I understand the way you’ve looked at it (and you could be right) but their deduction is also supportable.
  24. And he’s pretty much guaranteed a European trophy winners medal in May (expect a few of their better players to be added to the squad for the knock out rounds) coming here and being in another relegation fight - I mean he could help save us but what if we went down again??
  25. Wasn’t it hull? Villa had a buy back clause in the original sale deal. They also undoubtedly bought him back for more than they sold him. (Though the original sale was undisclosed). The sums involved are not as large as with KDH. The premier league have publicly commented that they are monitoring the sales of academy players between clubs and will get involved if they believe that the sums are not justifiable and potentially being used to usurp PSR. (Even though we all know they are). I can 100% guarantee that, given our current relationship with the authorities on PSR, if we buy KDH back in jan for £25/£30m that we’ll be embarking on another legal case with the PL within months (unless we make adjustments in our 23/24 accounts to compensate). they are waiting for us to screw up so they can clobber us.
