  1. I can’t see the truth about ultimate ownership coming to light that’s why you place these business’ in places like curucao. King power is not the owner of BC game btw. (But i reckon it’s the largest ‘investor’ in the past six months )
  2. We can’t even find a dodgy betting co to feed KP cash into the club that’s not likely to fall over within six months! I mean ffs it’s like robbing a bank and having a thirty y o reliant robin as your getaway car. !
  3. He’s not a bloody magician !
  4. Interesting that he’s had to manage twice against us recently - and seen pretty much the whole squad playing. that means he’ll have done some work on our players strengths and weaknesses (and I promise you that he wasn’t unaware of our interest in him replacing cooper in the near future). i would hope that he will have a fair idea of who and how he wants to play on Saturday (if he’s announced today). If it’s tomorrow then unlikely he can take charge for Brentford and it will have to wait for West Ham.
  5. We’re pretty shite in the boardroom but even we wouldn’t fall for that again, especially with someone like cooper. unless he accepted a low wage but the quid pro quo was that his deal would be paid off if he was sacked.
  6. It seems that way, looking at the amount of compo we paid in 2023. If we terminated his contract we had to pay it up (as per a player).
  7. Who says we’ve paid up cooper’s contract? apologies it I’ve missed something would be standard to pay the next twelve months unless cooper takes a new job. ( he would then do some negs with us to make an ex gracia payment to encourage him to take the new job) rodgers shafted us and we fell for it when we gave him his new deal
  8. No doubt we’ll find out in good time but if this is the case then it’s a shambles and they don’t deserve to be custodians of our club - the senior management and the owners
  9. Cos it isn’t true ?? why would the players be told that information?? Top may have told a player he considers a close confidante of that info and it could be out of date so the person concerned feels able to share it. if that is a Percy article then I reckon he’s been told something by someone and misunderstood part of it.
  10. I’ve heard that RVN was all set to be appointed but he won euromillions last night and told JR to eff off this morning. He doesn’t need the agg.
  11. Anyone thinking that potter might be interested because rudders would be leaving doesn’t understand the strength of our Jon at the club. it’s more likely that potter has accepted that rudders isn’t going anywhere and if he wants the job then he needs to accept that. however, I’d be surprised if potter is interested
  12. Deciding between pep and klopp I can understand their issues
  13. If we had a game on Saturday which was a guarantee loss then I’d not care but we’re chucking away the chance of a point at least but not having a proper coaching team in place. watching laurel and hardy against villa and Bournemouth two season ago was grim
  14. If it’s true that top wanted RVN in the summer then it’s a no brainier that he’ll appoint him now
  15. To have half a chance of getting results in this league you need one of the following 1)good tactics, 2) luck 3) all the players giving 100%+ cooper at forest had 2 and 3 cooper at leicester had occasional 2 and a little of 3 for the first month or so.
  16. If there’s an appointment today or tomorrow (of someone not in work) then the delay since Sunday is merely a charade so the club can claim that they hadn’t sacked cooper because they’d found and agreed with his replacement.
  17. I didn’t see our game at yanited the stats didn’t look great for them did he show decent game management ?
  18. This place is the strongest evidence you’ll find as to why this country has such low levels of productivity ……..
  19. Thought I’d clicked on the rudders thread by mistake
  20. They are much bigger than us. they move into a 60k stadium next year which will be full every week. the last time they played below the top tier was many decades ago they’ve won nothing since 1995 but they have a much larger fanbase than we do
  21. If we don’t announce this tomorrow then I’m completely done with the ownership. Removing your coaching staff and manger whilst you’re still playing for three points in six days time is ridiculous unless you’ve got someone to step straight in. I don’t care how crap cooper is, he’s still better than no one and anyone thinking that is deluded.
  22. I get that this kind of thing would be flagged up if someone were doing due diligence on the club. I appreciate @Benji ‘s earlier point that doing the housekeeping exercise will likely serve to increase speculation in this regard. But if I was buying an sig part of the club or the whole shebang then I’d not care about that and I’d want all the legal ducks in a row before doing the deal. We’ve been accused of doing ‘dodgy stuff’ and if I bought the club and then it was highlighted that Top got the money rather than king power when the public docs had shown for five years that king power were owners - you see that I’m already mired in questions that I have no interest in answering (not responsibility for the technical misdemeanour). my point is that this has been the case since 2019. It may just be co incidence that the legal people have just noticed the discrepancy but I’m a great fan of no smoke without a fire.
  23. You mean stalkers ??
  24. I think Gary o Neil is a v good coach and McKenna could be anything given time Frank and nuno have proven themselves to be very capable coaches
  25. Ref potter - we don’t know that he actually turned down the job before. (apart from when we sacked rodgers and he wasn’t mentally ready to step back into the fray with a club on the cusp of relegation ) What we heard in the summer was that he was close to being appointed but that there were issues with his backroom staff and the club didn’t want to wait for it to be sorted.
