the more times you’re on the more dosh you get it’s called the facility fee and it’s 900k per game televised I guess we’ll see where we are at the end. Could be that they aren’t showing us much now cos they think we’ll be shown towards the end of the season as the relegation fight heats up (or they’ve seen how shite our football is )
-
The yanited game isn’t on TV we don’t have any sky games PL trying to reduce our income ….
-
They could give them a fifty point sanction. that would relegate pretty much every other club - it might not Man City though
-
It could be that if they prove themselves over a season (must be some kind of measurement agreed) that their salary increases ?? if the player believes in himself (they usually do) then they’ll take up that challenge. It’s probably easier for a chelsea to do this than it would be for us because players want to go there. if the player doesn’t do the business then the club will find it easier to move them on than if they’re on a huge salary. a lot of their players are young. probably earning something like 10k on the continent. if you’re offered 60k for 8 years at 20 or 21, what are you replying ?
-
It’s either inspired or madness If the salaries being paid on these long deals are correct then it could just be the former (there will be some bad decisions) imagine we’d signed Bouba on an 10 year deal but only paying him 40k/week. The cost across his contract would be the same for us (at £20m) but the annual cost of his wages on psr would be half what they currently stand. And we’d find it much easier to sell him as the buying club would likely be ok to pick up that wage. obviously that’s a crude analogy but you get the picture
-
I’ve been told that these long deals are at ‘low’ salaries. low for a rich six club. Sub 100k these don’t help their psr position which are limited at 5 years from the date of purchase

I guess the problem is that between now and beginning November there isn’t going to be a dramatic swing to either candidate. So it will be tight in the polls and trump’s base will stick their hard hats on and cry foul if Harris was 5% ahead in the swing states then even trump would find it tough to call a defeat out as irregular
-
That’s one thing he won’t manage to do If it was a choice between him and JD Vance we might think differently!
-
hmmmm ….. good point Could trump claim theft if the polls are markedly against him pre polling day? Maybe he’ll just have to suck it up this time
-
Reports that chilwell will be named in Chelsea’s 25 man squad suppose they won’t get a decent fee for him unless he’s exposed
-
If the polls have moved markedly away from him pre November then hopefully it’s only the real nutjobs who won’t accept defeat
-
Removing the WFA from those who simply don’t need it makes perfect sense to do it the way labour have does concern me regarding what messes they may make of future’ reasonable’ policy decisions …

It probably says more about the ownership’s long term ambitions than anything else. My take is that if king power were committed long term then this would be happening. the investment is not psr related as most of the ‘psr costs’ have already been incurred. To expand will require either the ownership stumping up the dosh or extensive borrowings. the alternative view is that this won’t get going again unless we show we’re PL established. It’s a straightforward commercial decision based on that.

Soumaré - Sevilla currently - They have no cash

He isn’t going anywhere today there have been few links and cooper will use him - there is a player in there but I just can’t see him developing the nouse required in the PL. if we’re optimistic then maybe Brendan didn’t put in the hard yards to coach him and cooper could. Straw clutching at its best. -
We could really do with one of them pulling away in the polls in the swing states a close contest right out to polling day is just going to lead to the right shouting foul and unrest if/when they lose. If it becomes clear that they are going to lose then less of them will think it’s been ‘stolen’. A strong indication that Harris is going to prevail might also help move along ongoing global events. Big players out there are waiting to see if trump can win because it will change their calculations. however, the choice the Americans have remains hugely underwhelming. I’m not keen to see trump elected but I also don’t see his second term being much different to his first. The rhetoric was generally way uglier than the actions last time, I haven’t checked if we’re due to see any Supreme Court judges retire in the next four years. That would be v concerning. harris doesn’t inspire me either - to be fair, I havent see enough of her to make any judgments. I have noted that she has sometimes attended events with/endorsed a few people that she’d probably wish she hadn’t in retrospect. Those with eyes on the ultimate prize would be expected to be pretty careful in this regard (unless you’re trump). I assume she’ll be a safe pair of hands following most of biden’s policies. whether that means the world will be safer and more prosperous over the next four years is open to conjecture. It could be that this election is more important regarding who sits in the WhiteHouse when the decade flips over into the thirties than the next four years. That term could be more critical than the next one for us all.

If I could tripple laugh then I would !

And enough weird Americans to get him re elected ……

My lad has sprung it on me for his a level English language apparently because I’m from Leicester his teacher said I’d know lots of these words !
-
ta v much I think a lot of these are common across the country rather than localised Leicester/east mids. I’m not sure that there are many of them that have a local word or phrase (which is probably why I needed to ask ) I didn’t know scret for dirty
