  1. It’s not a facade plenty of info over the years
  2. Can you lot help with local words for the following - they should be particularly East Midlands ? ta pregnant tired hot cold ill dirty pleased/proud financially cheated drunk mad Broke (money) sleep throw away play hit eat quickly fight work hard Steal run away chat a lot tell to be quiet inform on someone ask to wait thank
  3. could a result as skewed as this actually happen re the popular vote v the electoral college vote ??
  4. What would he be worth if we had to pay a fee for him ??
  5. All Academies know who is good out there and what level they’re at within the english game. (And probably Scottish) they won’t know about other countries unless they have a more sophisticated database system and people out there with responsibility. Academics are all playing each other from a fairly young age. Of course kids undergo a big physical change as they go through puberty and you can’t be certain how they’ll emerge. there are no secrets - of course if monga was to play against Walsall and score a hat trick then he becomes known to everyone in the game and there would be owners asking their recruitment teams how they can get hold of him. That’s the risk of him being exposed - there are incredible talents at all academies - knowing which ones to target is what the rich six are always working on.
  6. maybe i just have too much faith in the system …….. all the points that you raise should have been addressed during the trial - if they weren’t then that’s potentially compelling new evidence ?? If the evidence was overly circumstantial then that’s a very tricky scenario because reasonable doubts would likely lead to a not guilty verdict if the case was heard several times. is there some compelling evidence of guilt in the case which has been ignored by those looking for reasons why other evidence is shaky ??
  7. That’s sufficient in cluedo , unless there is new compelling evidence (in which case the state should pay for a retrial), - hearing the evidence again would be very harrowing for the parents
  8. I think it was a generalised ‘you’ rather than anyone in particular
  9. Unless the england U16’s have a team bonding exercise at wacky warehouse ……..
  10. From seeing his cameo at burton he looks more than capable of holding his own against senior pros - fearless!
  11. I was sort of making the opposite point that what he can earn at some of the ‘rich six’ academies before he’s making first team squads is way higher than here. Seeing how unpredictable injuries could affect his career might affect his decision. I saw a kid leave arsenal for yanited at 16 a month ago because of what they were prepared to pay him.
  12. More than two he’ll look at nyoni and his progress at Liverpool he’ll look at the £1m fee that Man City paid us for a 14 y o noubissie he’ll look at how ACL injuries for two of our brightest prospects at 18 may have affected their career progression it’s very nuanced and unless he’s from a staunch city supporting family, he’ll likely do what’s best for them as well as himself
  13. No one will know until accounts are published. However, to do that deal we must have needed it in the books by end June. Otherwise why bother until the end of this season??
  14. He could go to a different academy at the end of the season and we get a fixed rate of compensation. Probably couple hundred K in his case. with his profile and playing at U21 level already, we would hope to keep him at least until we can expect a much higher compensation claim (as per nyoni when it eventually happens). I presume that means him signing as a 16 y o ?? a lot of what happens with him will depend on his family and which agency they choose. (And of course the player who could go in any direction on many levels ( mentally), given his tender age).
  15. There and back obviously wasn’t a very direct route!!
  16. Who could have known that this team needed some pace out wide? (apart from everyone whose name wasn’t Southgate) trying to jemmy in all the best players irrelevant of their form and fitness cost us again
  17. I think alves was subbed around 70 mins ?
  18. Is draper ill? he seems to want to avoid too many long rallys - just can’t be sure EDIT: he’s defo ill - such a shame.
  19. Ha not signed by pep pep wouldn’t have signed him ….
  20. You made my point ? You don't get the gig at Man City unless you’ve already proved yourself.(which he and others have done). Once you’re there you will get better service than at other clubs.
  21. Draper needs to improve his service in this semi or he’ll lose
  22. It’s been mooted bit Schulz has said it won’t happen. The idea was that they were sent to the facilities the U.K. had paid for whilst their claims were dealt with. If successful then they could return to Germany. i believe that the uk’s plan was that anyone sent to Rwanda wouldn’t be allowed to return to the U.K.
  23. Not really it’s pretty obvious that if you play up top for Man City then you’re going to get better chances. But you HAVE a to prove yourself to get that gig .
  24. 71% possession 19 shots 2 on target PL Haaland is definitely helped where he is he doesn’t score 1 goal a game at forest
  25. Something says nagging away in my mind If we’re claiming that the PL cannot charge us because we were a championship club then why can’t the EFL charge us? This would open up lots of nuances an elf sanction could be either a fine or a points deduction for when we are next relegated- neither of these are a benefit for the PL. if the EFL apply a sanction for 19/20 to 21/22 period then if we breach psr within the next two years in the PL, they couldn’t apply any sanction for the years already dealt with under double jeopardy. I think that the PL will actually allow the EFL to take on the overspend if they’re minded to take on the potential legal spend. Their public declarations that we must be punished demand that they do something. If they do nothing then I wonder if that indicates the PL believe we will breach to 2024 and want the previous two years available for sanctions to be applied.
