  1. If size selection is also a gamble then at least they’ve gone all in 😂
  2. This is just another issue relating to psr and the restrictions on owners putting funds into the club
  3. How much control and influence will he actually have though? surely the hardliners can fiddle the voting if they were concerned he would make much of a difference? mind you, the progress that will soon be more widely reported in Gaza/israel ceasefire negs will no doubt be linked to his election as President.
  4. Surely adidas set a base price because they’re paying us to be our kit supplier? and it’s not a pence cost - it probably costs them about 4 dollars to make that shirt with all the badges etc ! adidas are making a pretty penny back on what they charge the club for the shirts
  5. could be said to be worse that we’ve chosen a gambling company that’s ultra shady but then given the mechanics of what we’re actually doing, doesn’t it have to be ? (And let’s not pretend we’re on our own on this) I can see the club defending themselves off the record by asking if anyone would actually use this gaming site ? I mean a straight scam Google check provides so many bad reviews that you’d surely go elsewhere ! I can see this ending badly - it’s potentially trestellar levels of incompetence!
  6. we can’t afford to charge less than the going rate any longer they don’t need to charge less so that’s pretty good considering they aren’t flush with dosh
  7. How does that stack with other PL clubs ?
  8. Poll done yesterday that said 36% of reform voters would have voted Tory if reform didn’t exist 25% undecided so not likely to be more than 50% in any case would still have been a three figure majority
  9. Rather have the tiaras first I think he’d look lovely in a tiara !
  10. Here’s a true story for you couple of seasons ago someone I know was given a ticket by his friend to an arsenal game. Nice seat middle front upper tier main stand As you do, he chatted now and again to the guy sitting next to him At some point the guy asked my mate what he did for a living my mate asked him what he did in response. (my mate doesn’t live in the U.K.) ‘oh, I’m in politics‘ was the reply. Nothing more than that after the game my mates friend who’d given him the ticket asked if he’d chatted to starmer. My mate had no idea and starmer didn’t have the ego or self importance to tell him
  11. The bar as PM of this country is very low ……..
  12. And the more obscure and away from regulatory authorities the better
  13. Does anyone believe that FBS a was a straightforward sponsorship agreement ? does anyone believe that BC game is a straightforward sponsorship agreement ? does anyone believe that king power might be making investments in these business’? and we’re not alone btw
  14. Not true - ICJ ruling was widely misinterpreted What did ICJ ruling mean in South Africa's genocide case against Israel? https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c3g9g63jl17o
  15. Starmer is a lawyer. at this time, there is no legal judgment that Israel is committing ‘genocide’ (nor do I expect there to be unless things change ) just because many people say something doesn’t make it so the other points you make are ‘political judgements’ and starmer will no doubt avoid making them because he’s five years away from another GE and therefore doesn’t need to address them. Our arms exports are insignificant in any case. labour have committed to recognising a Palestinian state as part of a negotiated peace process - that ain’t happening anytime soon.
  16. What were the 2019 and 2017 numbers ? tbh, it doesn’t matter if the majority is 180 or 100 FPTP usually delivers majorities and that is supposed to bring stable govt 😀
  17. keir congratulates rishi for being south Asian ….
  18. We need the money
  19. I don’t see it s/o fees for out of contract players are still several millions which is paid in various ways (which can be monthly as part of wage) over 3 years that would be 20/25k per week Experienced premier league squad players earn 40/50k per week
  20. With s/o fee included their wages will be north of 50k per week. I’d think more 75k but that reflects not paying a transfer fee
  21. Welcome to Lidl people once some of you realise where we are in the food chain you’ll relax a bit more he’s a trier we went down last time because we didn’t have enough of them
