Can’t argue much with that -

I admire his approach to the game but he needed to recognise some time ago what was going on and change needed to be made to allow us to regain momentum that stubborn streak will cost him his job and other clubs will look at this and be concerned. No doubt judging that his inexperience has led to that.

Looking at the way we’re playing I’m beginning to wonder if this financial stuff has had and is continuing to have an impact. -
I rather hoped we’d see an improved performance

Rumoured that Rees-zammit is going to be taken by the chiefs. Not a bad gig to be thrown to by Mahomes in your rookie season!

They will find a few that they paid smallish fees for and I’m certain they don’t pay them like we do ours ! it will hurt them though because the ones they move on will be the better players and they’ll be left with the rubbish -

This they will have no problem reaching that profit given the sheer number of players they can move on, even at lowish fees also shows why they are appealing because every place they can finish higher is really important to them -
Transfers in the world of FFP - where do we make money?
st albans fox replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Let’s say that you’re in year 3 of your contract of £3m per season if you’re sold to a club that will only pay you £1.5m per season, what happens to the £3m loss that was your contracted forward earnings ?? my guess is that we either have to pay that 1.5m on sale or the fee is reduced by that amount and the player takes the 1.5m as part of their s/o fee. Ether way, we only save the wage that the new club is able to pay. This is a reason that loans are popular on players with a high amortised value. -

it’s a rolling three year cycle so in theory, we cannot be punished twice if we failed both cycles 20-23 and 21-24, then the second points deduction would be adjusted to take account of the seasons that we’d already been sanctioned for. -

Selling youri for £25m in summer 2022 and cags for similar in summer 2021 would have made a big difference does anyone know if we actually turned away fees for them or if they were both set on seeing out their contracts and taking the money ? -
How do tariffs work in the states ? I mean over here he would be out in 12 years and he’d leikly spend the last six years of his sentence in an open prison

Or we should have the cahones to play 16 and 17 y o in the first team set up like liverpool do. So kids and parents can see a pathway before they’re 19/20. We have given the odd 18 y o a go but it’s rare I can understand a kid wanting to go to anfield way more than I can to Man City -

That 71m cannot count towards psr the loan interest payments can come off but the disappearance of the loan will improve the net asset value of the business by that amount. We did it when KP converted £194m of loans into shares 22/23. The consequence of that was reduce interest payments which comes off the cash out column Thinking about the conversion of the 194m of debt into shares means that our balance sheet end 23/24 should look much healthier than it did end 22/23 will the accounts actually look better than expected because of that loan removal whereas the underlying numbers will be poor. It might take Swiss ramble and mr maguire a little while to get their tweets out once they become public -

Their spending last summer was post end June and if they spent £120m then only £24 of that goes down as a negative in their annual accounts the numbers for 23/24 won’t be as good its huge wages that kills you and we became experts -
