  4. As a westerner you can get 3/1 at coralofski (kgb branch) on Kremlin high st but you have to place the bet in person ……..
  5. I think you’ll find that some of us mentioned this in the week after October 7th It wasn’t difficult to work out what he might do to use the horrors of the attack to secure his premiership BN was political toast on October the 8th. Whilst the destruction of Hamas is totally justified, the method was never going to be palatable to the majority of right minded people given their underground existence/ habitation amongst the civilian population. netenyahu will never leave a legacy of security and the Israeli people know this. Each month that passes reveals more and more that his self preservation is his primary concern. National security simply a consequence and little evidence that his actions are likely to deliver that. the end of the war will be fairly swiftly followed by the end of netenyahu and his right wing coalition. Has Iran instructed Hezbollah to be less aggressive than they want to be in order that Israel will struggle to justify moving to a northern front? If we see Hezbollah increase their attacks into n Israel ( they currently occur pretty much daily but could be way more intrusive) then you’d question if Iran want to keep netenyahu in place because what might follow could eventually lead to some type of settlement in the region. Would stability in the region suit Iran and Hezbollah ? Whilst the broadscale situation is a tragedy for civilians in Gaza, there will be much written in the future about the politics and diplomatic activity around this ‘war’. It is difficult to discuss the politics etc around the region whilst civilians are dying100+ each day. But perhaps it’s possible ??? I guess we’ll find out soon
  6. The refreshing of the rules in the summer will relate to the future clubs will be punished for breaking the rules in the past in cases are proven

  8. Cup final v Gloucester Fri 19:45
  9. 6 points for the offence over three seasons but only one of those seasons were in the PL so expecting it to be reduced pro rata to 2 on that basis, everton can expect 2 points rather than another 6
  10. I’d assume that all backbenchers who wanted to ask a question and weren’t selected stood up 46 times aswell. I guess we’d need to know when she last asked a question at pmq’s
  11. The rich six would love that - they’d make a fortune with their commercial incomes massively outweighing what they can spend

  15. think there's one next door with a pipe connection ...... it does sound very high!
  16. middlesboro tried playing out from the back and got hammered. we did it at anfield and got away with a few errors. last few games we haven't looked v comfortable playing out and have resorted to being a bit more direct.
  17. Clubs don't generally bid unless they've spoken to the agent and received encouragement we should have been requesting that youri and cags sign new deals or that we'd consider offers for them. both had two years left at that point. we could definitely have sold one of them that summer if not both.
  18. I reckon we could have sold wilf or cags in the covid transfer window of 2020 (although we sold Ben so not desperate) or definitely post FA cup 2021. The issue was the coach didn’t want to sell anyone and the club decided to go along with that. Wilf was on the decline by summer 2021 but whatever we got for him would have been all profit. I am certain that if we’d put feelers out then we’d have got takers for both players.
  19. We lacked the confidence and foresight to trade we made the error in thinking that our players were irreplaceable we should have sold players like wilf, youri, cags and madders whilst they were at the top of their game and with years left on their contracts. We should have been able to find replacements that would take lower salaries and obviously cost way less than we sold for. we failed to make the judgment that despite everything that was going on with European football and an fa cup win that we were still little old Leicester and our commercial/match day income were insufficient to have the budget we were running with. in the cold light of day, selling two of cags, youri or wilf for £30m+ were surely achievable at some point and would probably have prevented this nonsense. that’s down to strategic planning by our board would vichai have seen this or would he have also been carried along on the ride
  20. Arsenal look fairly pedestrian this evening liverpool and Man City loads more intensity on Sunday considering that they don’t have many injuries their bench is uninspiring
  21. i agree with both of you .........
  22. and i'm sure we can pay lower wages as a consequence of the wonderful working environment ...........
  23. If we’d won our past four fixtures and not broken psr, would this be such an issue for you ?
  24. I was under the impression that the idea is to get to 70% for everyone but to begin with, the PL will allow 85% for those clubs not in europe (who must hit uefa’s rules of 70%)
