Contracts are complicated documents selling clubs - how available re their lawyers ? Are they busy on other deals ? afaik, if we can get the deal sheets in then we can continue to negotiate the details on the contracts after 7pm. But then which club ends up in a lesser negotiating position ??.

We’ll never know that but negotiating so late on BEK was bound to have a knock on effect on our ability to get players in.

We have a poor record of getting deals done having less than seven hours to go and potentially working on three or four contracts at the same time wreaks of a tanner tweet at 6pm that’s the club we’re trying to get x and y in but the complexity of the deals meant that they’d run out of time I hope I’m wrong

Possibly Correct although the contract could be worded that they are obliged to buy him on 1st July once his loan contract has expired on. 30 June Because the fee isn’t great, it’s not clear whether the loan makes it likely we are/arent psr compliant. The loan fee will negate the amortisation this season so loan or buy not much different in psr terms.

Disappointed to be right on the sort of fee we’re likely to get for him in the end I mean it’s even lower than I thought we’d manage wonder if we tried to tell him he’d have to stay based on the offers and that’s when he kicked off. And we didn’t have the stomach for the fight.

His reduced wages approx 3m/year. Any decent replacement will be 2m so not much of a saving

Depends what we can squeeze out of them doe the sale his amortisation this year is 4.5m so would need to be double that to make it worthwhile. We’d have to pay a loyalty bonus to him aswell. can’t see it happening he’ll walk for nowt next summer and make a wedge
