Did say that when Donald and Elon fall out that it could be quite fun !

It can also depend on the style of the player youri is a plodder strikers are more likely to be ‘explosive’ sprinters which puts more strain on the body

Brilliant! The UK's statistics agency has said the headline inflation rate for April was too high after it discovered it had been given incorrect road tax data by the Department for Transport. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said the pace of general price rises should have been 3.4%, instead of the 3.5% it had reported.

Signed in 2022 when they’d retained their PL status after promotion. A very different profile to us at the time Danny ward signed his extension. we tried to be something we weren’t and came unstuck villa and forest could end up in our position in a couple of seasons if they have a shocker (more difficult now with the clubs being promoted being so weak) Brentford's average wage is probably now around 60k whereas when they signed mbuemo he was probs a v high earner @ 50k

Apologies - of course he did the kids earlier there

Ultimate game changer wonder if the energy companies and the fossil fuel countries are actively trying to stop this from coming to fruition. (like the light bulb manufacturers were rumoured to have stopped development of long life bulbs for many years)

Sorry if this has been referenced already just incredible London-based artificial intelligence company Builder.ai has gone bankrupt after revelations that its flagship AI tool, "Natasha," was powered not by cutting-edge machine learning, but by a human workforce of over 700 engineers based in India. Once valued at USD1.5 billion and bolstered by a USD455 million investment from Microsoft, Builder.ai marketed Natasha as a revolutionary tool that could autonomously design and build mobile applications. But internal reports and whistleblower accounts revealed that most of the labor was performed manually, with minimal automation involved. The company filed for bankruptcy in May 2025, stating on LinkedIn that it was "entering into insolvency proceedings" after being unable to recover from "historic challenges and past decisions." Investigations also uncovered financial irregularities involving another tech firm, VerSe Innovation, an Indian social media startup that collaborated with Builder.ai, between 2021 and 2024, to allegedly inflate their revenues by billing each other for unrendered services, a charge VerSe denies.

Would look beautiful in marble somewhere like dar es Salaam …..

I think it’s when the next PL meeting takes place (which is quite soon). I referenced end June because that’s the date our accounts are closed. (And what we used as an excuse last time). EDIT: might have been today
-
We have three weeks to get a sale of something done ( if we need to) but not sure if we have to meet EFL rules rather than PL because by end June we are an EFL club. EFL don’t allow sales as referenced above

Hopefully British architects can get most of the contracts !

Could be an academy player is the only example ??

I’m in agreement with you but then I look at Everton this season ….. maybe moyes had it easier because it became clear quite quickly that the bottom three weren’t going to challenge anyone. Dyche was stuck in a mindset that a point was a good outcome in a game. Or perhaps he’d just been there long enough and a different voice was required.

The hypocrisy is incredible they have a point about the media - it’s just that they don’t have a basis to be making it !

Wages are reduced in the championship But getting Italian/spanish clubs to cover 55k per week will be difficult might still have to take 750k off the fees

A fair proportion of the stuff that you’ve seen coming out of war zones is AI/edited/staged and yet 99% viewing think it’s real.

Based on what ????? we aren’t

Enfield just avoided relegation from national league south

This is all in order if you’re a rich six club. (And only if)

I think to definitively call him a Russian asset is over stating it. However, he clearly doesn’t want to do anything which will upset putin to the extent that he might release the photos !
-
Shapps (or whatever his name is now) was on the radio earlier. Mentioned that he had seen confidential stuff when a minister re trump and what Putin might have which would severely compromise him. Obviously unable to go into any detail but the inference was clear.

mine is u14 nd each year gets worse with respect to the difference between those kids who have fully gone through puberty and those who have barely started. At a good level it’s actually dangerous because the kids who are physically men exploit that to its full advantage. I’ve also watched U18 step 2 playing against a mens team step 4. All the U18’s were physical specimens. They held their own for about 50 mins and then wilted. They lost comfortably in the end. Whilst Monga may be fine with the final 20 mins of a game, I wonder how he’d cope starting ? as Lewis- skelley has shown this season, it’s possible for a 16/17 y o to manage. Rooney was another. It’s not commonplace though for a kid barely 16 to do so.

Tbh, if I’m his parent then I’m advising him not to play senior men’s top level football at 16. His development will be better playing U23 next season and then going on loan the following one. Assuming other clubs are offering a similar financial package to us then I’m going where he’ll get the best U23 experience next season - both coaching and playing level.
