I'd like to see us kick on a bit here. We've already batted a Surrey win out of the equation.
-
We really have batted well here. Pitch isn't offering much for the bowlers, but other than the two wickets and dropped catch off Cox down the ground, I can't remember any other chances/big appeals today. Get a lead of 150 and have 10 overs against them tonight. It's going to be tough to bowl that Surrey side out, but they've been in the field for 2 days so you never know.

No teams in League One with a single syllable name unfortunately

LCFC 0-1 Swansea, post-match thread

Suspiciously eloquently worded, from the bloke who brought us "we promote next season" -
Wolves in the 80s, I believe.

Chat GPT reckons Ayew up front on his own, so nah. -
Haven't even been relegated yet. Plenty more to come.

Jon Stevenson? Towards the start of the 2002/03 season I believe Edit- Yep- http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/2197448.stm Amazing what you remember when you're actually arsed about it. I genuinely couldn't tell you who scored against Bristol City a couple of weeks ago, and I was at the game.

QPR Saturday 14th March 3pm (H) Protest - Unite for change

I think there's a need for a single, simple, catchy and repetetive chant. Needs to be all-encompassing but non-inflammatory. That's the key to getting a lot of people who are currently reluctant on board and involved to some extent. -
Yeah, got to admire Oxford's form at this stage of a season. Just got to do our job and it's irrelevant as there are enough teams down there now- every game we have left is easily winnable.
-
These are exactly the sort of teams you want to be playing at this time of the season- midtable with nothing to play for.
-
If the players have got any self respect and professional pride, they will be out to avenge that shit show at their place.

Make or break tonight. Win, and I think we stay up comfortably. Lose, and I don't see us shifting the mental fragility for the rest of the season.
-
Improving under Rowett then.
-
Just be glad it's not Ayew. Spoke to bloody soon. Time to lump on Ipswich.
-
Problem is, they'll just **** off anyway. And we'll be the ones left with a rotting third tier club.

Baggies losing

Good on them. First time since before the great war that we've not been the best LCFC in the football league pyramid next season? Life under Aiyatwatt.
-
Easing James and Lascelles back in before the run of 'winnable' games? Makes a bit of sense. No point watching today though.

The bowling unit isn't good enough collectively to win enough games in a row to win a tournament. Inevitably there was going to be a day where the likes of Overton, Curran and Dawson got smacked about against a good side.
