We really have batted well here. Pitch isn't offering much for the bowlers, but other than the two wickets and dropped catch off Cox down the ground, I can't remember any other chances/big appeals today. Get a lead of 150 and have 10 overs against them tonight. It's going to be tough to bowl that Surrey side out, but they've been in the field for 2 days so you never know.

I think there's a need for a single, simple, catchy and repetetive chant. Needs to be all-encompassing but non-inflammatory. That's the key to getting a lot of people who are currently reluctant on board and involved to some extent.

Yeah, got to admire Oxford's form at this stage of a season. Just got to do our job and it's irrelevant as there are enough teams down there now- every game we have left is easily winnable.

These are exactly the sort of teams you want to be playing at this time of the season- midtable with nothing to play for.

The bowling unit isn't good enough collectively to win enough games in a row to win a tournament. Inevitably there was going to be a day where the likes of Overton, Curran and Dawson got smacked about against a good side.
