Yes, I mean, how dare he look in the direction of noise?
-
And related in meaning to much fo the squad this season...
-
Putting the detail to one side for just a moment, I just think that for one day, that should be left for another time. Or maybe you just haven't got a ticket.
-
I never said it's all fine, because I know it isn't. Nobody in their right mind disagrees about the future issues, or the season endured. Today is about JV, the man deserves to be celebrated.

On this day, there are still some determined to find problems.

Nothing has changed for Forest.

Have your say: Foxes Trust End of Season Survey (now live)

I think perhaps we could continue this difficult conversation elsewhere. I have stuff to add but don't really want to divert matters further.
-
For anyone wanting to experience actual, deliberate, hateful, anti semitism, follow Michael Rosen and look at the comments he receives. This might have been a mistake, quickly corrected and admitted. There are plenty who are saying the worst stuff, in the worst way, out loud, and they tend not to share Lineker's politics.
-
Maybe so, but on a forum full of opinions from lay people with no reason to (necessarily) be taken seriously, it's a bit rich having one of them trying to tell him he should stick to his job. I might as well say that to everyone on here.
-
That disqualifies him from opinion?
-
For all that is wrong with the way the club is run, it's their money to waste (if you care to look at it that way). They are choosing to celebrate the once in a lifetime career of our greatest in a way only you seem to find controversial, and although you shouldn't be afraid of being in the minority in any argument, on this occasion you aren't reading the room and I think there are a lot of very good reasons nobody is agreeing with you. Calling us a herd being one of them, projecting yourself onto me is another. By the way, you don't win arguments or friends by telling them what they know. That's just arrogance.
-
You're being obtuse and you know it
-
Stop telling me what you think I know, otherwise I'll do the same to you.
-
Organise a party? Care to cost that for a us?
-
We're seeing our greatest player off, on his 500th and final appearance. Perhaps, it's being done for those of us lucky enough to thank him for his sustained brilliance. Nothing else matters right now, in footballing terms.
-
I am sharing the idea that you have a terrible take on this, in my opinion. He deserves to go out in front of us all at home, not at a glorified cowshed, in a terrible season when we might finish 18th or 19th.
-
No, it proves that some people will seek any way to find fault and then create argument. I have absolutely no time for it and I feel rather sad that so many people do it. FWIW, I suspect this is as much the club's idea as it is his, but you double down if you must.

Have a nice day, if possible.

If you read what I originally wrote, I made perfectly clear that we don't know who else might be out there. I am part of 'we'. I am simply challenging the notion that Dyche is the only answer. After all, who knew, before the fact, how brilliant Pearson was going to be? I didn't.
-
Well, maybe we need someone less 'experienced' (often code for hopelessly out of date or past it). Pearson wasn't anything like as experienced then as Dyche now is, I might add.
-
But we don't know that to definitely be the case - there might well be any number of managers not presented to us or that we're likely ignorant of. We just know the cliché that is Dyche. And yes, I'm using the 'royal we' to avoid making it personal.

Please help me understand something. because people say these type of things and I would like opinions on what you think they mean and what they imply. 'Proper' player 'Proper' footballer 'Proper' football ground I kind of have my own views of these sort of statements and their assumed/co-opted meaning, some of them less than positive. What say you?
