  1. I know nothing, and I'm frankly better off that way in this instance.
  2. I think it is because it is almost impossible to run such a venture at a profit.
  3. People enjoy sticking the boot in, it then becomes a competition.
  4. Fans peddling any line doesn't damage the club whatsoever - I think perhaps you and I disagree on this, we have far less influence on the goings on in the club than we might like to believe. On the other hand, if you're promoting the idea of fans being more vociferous in seeking positive change, then that's a different matter. Fine lines, maybe it's a matter of semantics.
  5. Inter-fan spats & petty grudges help absolutely nobody, however right or wrong anyone turns out to be. Calling out pettiness is not the same as shouting someone down.
  6. Told by whom, exactly?
  7. Maybe enough injuries and loss of form & confidence have coincided.
  8. 'if they were doing well, it'd be rocking' This might be true - and if it is, it's a stunning indictment of supporters only supporting when things are going their way. And it also makes our apathy, despite being top, even worse. Of course, it's the football at fault. Or Enzo. Or Rudkin. Or the seating. Or the preponderance of older fans. Nope. It's on us, spoilt and bloated with expectation that seems one way. We're all victims, to an extent, of instant gratification culture. So I sympathise with it, but don't accept the 'nothing to do with me' attitude that many take.
  9. I think we're very tired, and it is easy to over analyse, and in some cases, catastrophise.
  10. (Apart from all the instances when this didn't happen at all until very recently).
  11. I presume this won't reach booking history.
  12. I was in a very special safe house on Saturday - Sheffield Cathedral, and for anyone familiar with Beethoven's 7th Symphony, we nailed it. Funnily enough, my desk partner is an Ipswich fan.
  13. People have difficulty with existence, I think, and they seek an outlet.
  14. Awesome
  15. Chose a good day to be busy I think.
  16. I deliberately avoid it. They want you to be frightened, it might make you vote stupidly.
  17. I think you meant to say 'patronising'...
  18. Anyone calling a huge win, is mistakenly optimistic in my opinion. Close game for me, 2-1 win.
  19. Barry Davies on commentary, it's all flooding back.
  20. Jimmy Hill commenting on the fighting in the stands.
