It's great to see that we're really at it tonight.
-
Terrific news if Wilf is back in 2 Weeks. We've missed him badly for his Ball winning as well as his newfound attacking Skills.
-
Absolutately right. A terrible mistake taking him off against Coventry. He ahould have been moved more centrally along with Cannon to occupy the Cov defence. By taking him off allowed Coventry to push onto us and pin us back in our own half. Hopefully we wont make that mistake again.
-
Did he ever actually play for us, I cant remember. ?
-
Granted, being one footed holds him back a little but there's been a lot of good one footed players over the years. He has great energy about him with a proven Goal threat which would certainly suit Liverpool who play a high tempo game. It's not likely to happen now as they'er well covered in that area.
-
I think he's made for Liverpool with there Hi Tempo Game. I doubt they need him at this time and the fee we'd want could be a porblem. I hope he makes it tomorrow because we need him and he could be the difference tomorrow night.

I can't understand why we are giving them 3300 tickets, Surely it should be the same asthey gave us 2000 unless there's something in the rules that says it has to be 10% of Capacity. That should be 1300 hundred of our own fans satisfied with tickets who potentially could be the next group of Season Ticket Holders. Crazy and ahort sighted from the Club.
-
We could recall Junior Lewis also.
-
I'd keep him as he has a lot of upside. He was doing well until his injury and I just feel he'll get back there with game time. I wouldn't sell for anything less than double figures.
-
Just give him away to a league two team and free up the space.
-
I was warming to him slowly, He definitely has talent that just needs unlocking which he was doing slowly. Anyway we move on, Space now for Sensi who Enzo rates highly so lets get it done and see how it goes.
-
Not quite but another step in the right direction. The key game I think is going to be the Southmapton game. Win that and we should go on to win the league.
-
At least he tries for the Team compared to them.

We all know one result doesn't win or lose the title but it does create Habit. Just as winning becomes a habit so does losing. Losing this game certainly would breed pressure within the Squad. It puts doubt in the Players heads, Doubt prevents spontaneity from the players, Which further creates negativity. Wheras Winning creates momentum and breeds confidence not to mind adding more points to our total and freightening the oppossition further. We need to keep pushing ahead until the job is done while enjoying the process.
-
The one thing I'm sure of is this. We have to turn up ready for a Battle. We have to be on the front foot, aggressive and intimidating to the opposition. When we seize that moral hight ground at home then the game can unfold as it will, If we win great if we don't good luck to Ipswich. What I don't want to see is the insipid perofrmance we put into the game on Saturday against Coventry.

I said we'd regret the passing of Vichai and so it's proving. He would have been decisive in decision making. Now we have a Board to go through before most things happen. Yes Top is the Chairman of the Club but he still has a Board to answer too. Vichai could call the shots himself. I'm sure he would have said get the deadwood out of the club ASAP even at a loss and we move on. Think about it, If we dont get the fringe players out it seems we cant get new signings in. That could seriously jeopardise our promotion. Sadly, only time will tell.

This is a big game for us not just because it's Ipswich, But because we don't want back to back defeats causing Nerves and Tension in the Team. I'd definitely bring Albrighton in for Fatawu on the wing if only for his alround experience. Also as you suggest Akgun in the 8 position and leave KDH in the 10 role. McAteer could also do a job there if his fitness is up to speed. I'd leave Casadei out although he is improving he lacks the girt and determination needed in big games for me. We're too nice for our own good. There's not a Walsh, Lennon or Huth anywhere in this squad.
-
The Ref was terrible from the off, They were putting it about and he let too much go. Which is why Fatawu lost it after several elbows etc. Taking off Mav was a big mistake. It allowed them to push up and contain us while they had 2 men marking Cannon. When you decide to defend in your own box mistakes are always likely to happen.
-
Yes, That was when he made a move more into the 10 position similar to what he done when winning the Penalty. He's much more effective in games playing in the 10 role. Plus Casadai has been improving in the 8 role also then he switches them yesterday. Just a little strange to me. He only seems to come alive when he makes that move into the Centre or 10 role. He seems a little lost when asked to play the 8. So I just question why Enzo moves him unless it's as I say to expand his knowldge of the game and different positions. Yes you're right about the 1 v 1. But would it have broken down on the left, I doubt it. As he's more comfortably there.
-
KDH is not the same player when played on the right, He loses something. I can only assume Enzo is doing it to expand his education and awareness.
-
We've become a little too predictably. We need to mix things up a little more. Teams are preparing for exactly how we like to play now. It's hard to be critical of the Team given the season we're having but there was a lot wrong with yesterdays performance especially from Enzo and the players. We were also a little unlucky with 2 goals going through players legs, But when you openly invite pressure that's always likely to happen. I'm hope we'll learn from it and be better prepared for the Ipswich game.
-
It was the speed of the Tackle fooled the Ref. His foot never left the ground so it was never dangerous, just late. A Yellow at most.
-
It was but a little harsh, It ws the high follow through that it was given for. But we seen them ignored also.
-
Cov working hard to keep us quiet. I doubt they'll keep this up 2nd half.
-
KDH just not as effective on the right. Though that was a good move.
