Hotels are not too bad but food drink and clothes very expensive. We went for 3 weeks and I spent 1500 and that was in the early 70s. We had an amazing time. We were invited to a Wedding afters, we visited a farm when we ran out of petrol. The lovely family gave us a bucket of petrol and didn't want to take any money. We were put up n a 4 Story hotel that was closed. Etc ,I could go on. I'm sure you won't regret it.

If it was me I'd get rid of the Ball real quickly. Is she real or AI.

I went there for our Honeymoon. As said above,a truly beautiful country and well worth a Visit bu bloody expensive. I brought the Car for getting around and had a wonderful time. We went up the west coast towards the midnight sun then across towards Sweden. Down to Lillehammer and on too Oslo. Then back to Bergen where we spent a few days and back to the UK. It cost me the price of a house back then. Which is crazy now that I think about it. But some amazing stories and memories. If you haven't been it's worth it to see the beauty of the Fjords and countryside. The people are loving also. Everyone so helpful.

Our demise was mostly down to circumstances. I've said this before. The crash was devastating for the Club. With Vachi at the helm decisions were made quicker. Maybe not always right, but decisive. We've had 2 years of indecisiveness while the legalities have been worked. Rogers signing we're mostly rubbish and he sulked like the a child and threw in the Towel. Thankfully the Board are happy to continue with Vichai 's wishes for now and we're reaping the Benefits. While that continues we will continue to progress. That's all we can hope for as Fans. Enzo as a Coach is light years ahead of anyone I know off in the game. With the financial support I'm certain he can take us back to the top 6 of the premiership. I'm enjoying his style, his Man Management and his success. Long may it continue.

I totally agree with you. Sadly I've also seen all the great keepers playing over that Period. From the great Lev Yeshin to now. Like you Mads hasn't filled me with complete confidence in the way Iversen did when he came into the team. As 2 keepers standing on the goalline making saves I'd take Iversen all day long. It's the distribution aspect that has Mads no 1. And I understand why also. Enzo wants to keep the play as far upfield as possible. Which means the less need to be making saves. They're both very young have time to improve. I'd like to see Enzo work his Magic on Iversen and develop him to be type of keeper he wants. Then we'd have the very best of what's out there currently as Goalkeepers. And less not forget the very impressive other young keeper we have Jacob Stolarczyk. Someone in our Scouting dept has a good eye for a Goalkeepers. I'd hate to see any of them leave and prove themselves elsewhere.

I doubt he'd want to go to Fulham. He can achieve more here playing for a Manager he clearly respects. He's also become a Star of the team.

www.citizensinformation.ie is a good site to start. They have answers to most thing and direct contact to Gov departments for answers to anything they don't know.

When you see our 2 CBs up on the edge of the opposition Box as we seen on Saturday against Stoke. They're never getting back in time to save a goal , So yes I'm all for taking a yellow. Why not Man City City have been doing it for years. With big squads you can afford to lose a player for a game. I'm loving seeing our CB squeeze the opposition into their own half were our skill on the Ball is demoralizing them.

Vesty to his credit has changed peoples opinion of him. But he's not the long term solution. I just hope we are Scouting a Tall , Strong and Pacy CB for next season. If we can find one like Fafana then we'll be well covered for the step up to the Premiership.

This is it. I really thought it was for organising the nights out for the Squad on away trips. So there's no repeat of the famous Thai trip which cost Nigel his job. The description is perfect for it.

I cant see it ever going to happen due to the physical difference between Men and Women. Though there are other sports where it's likely to happen or has happened already for specific occasions.

I see your logic but you cant really look at it like that. A new season brings a whole lot of new challenges. Players leaving new signings new Managers etc. We just need to continue to develop the system Enzo is instilling into the players, Clear out the deadwood and add a few new faces and we'll do better than most. The present squad have already proved they can score against Liverpool with a slick move so why not against lesser teams. For any young Coaches out there, There's so much to learn by watching us and following our journey. I believe we now have the right Manager all we need to do is add the right players going forward which I believe we will do in signing up and coming talent and not the failed policy of the last Manager. Relax and enjoy the ride.

LCFC financial questions - October 2023
Clever Fox replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
To try and answer your question seriously I'd say Relax the club is going nowhere but back to the Premiership. That's the goal of the club and the Owners. Not sure on balancing the books but on recent seasons no, Corrections were needed steady the ship and satisfy FFP. Financially, we are doing ok since relegation. We'll get another 100+ from the premiership this season even if we don't go up. And we still have saleable players if needed. Unlike most clubs in this league. The club has also raised capital against some of the long term income from player sales by selling those committments up front. So the Answer is yes we can survive even if we don't get promoted. In Susan Whelan we have one of the most astute and respected people in Finance running both the Club and the Company. She's the one driving the success financially. KP are reported to be back up to pre pandemic sales figures in the Duty free business. Aside from the long term committments like Seagrave and Stadium expansion. The club has little debt relative to other Clubs. I'm sure some on hear can shed more light on the figures involved than I can. The Stadium expansion is going ahead to my knowledge and the finance for it is in place. It's held up currently by the Council Faffing around over detail, but have given the go ahead in principle. Don't forget the other commercial developments around the stadium which will bring in considerable income also when completed. All of which could be 2 to 5 years away. For me personally the one thing I worry about is the loss of Vichai RIP in that awful crash. Pre crash Vichai owned everything and so could make decisions himself. Like writing off the Clubs Debt or Donating millions to the local Hospital etc Now it's a Board of Directors running things of which Top is answerable too. That's a big change, And as we know Directors disagree all the time in Companies. Ego's etc get in the way and the company sufferes. For now though I understand the goal is to carry on Vichai's wishes and finish what he and Top started, That's to make Leicester City great and a big Club. To their credit they've done an excellent job so far, even with a few bumps along the way. Which I believe we've learnt from. A League Title and an FA Cup win is not to be taken lightly against the system and the big clubs. As to the future, who knows, such is life. For the next 10 years or so I don't think we are going anywhere but up in the World as a Club. Our status continues to rise and we're winning over new Fans from all over the World. Enjoy the Games and the Season and roll with it. Onwards and Upwards we go. -
Yes, I'm always fearful of a Bookie's result.

10 League Games in - How Would you Rate the Season?
Clever Fox replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'm not sure some people even know what they want. What we're witnessing is nothing like what Brendan Ball. Slow, with no pace and poor at the back. What we're seeing now is Chess on a football field. Played with Skill, Pace at times, The long Ball when it's on, Clean sheets and plenty of Goals. From a group of Players playing with Confidence and for the Manager and Fans. Time will tell where we finish but for now it's a breath of fresh air and all the signs are good. How could anyone not be excited by Kelechi's move he started and nearly finished himself. Or Madensen's long Ball to release Mavididi. Both moves are as close to perfect Football as you're likely to see on a football pitch. Enzo is proving himself to be a Top Top Manger and whoever decided to go for him deserves a lot of credit. His knowledge of the game is incredible. But it's not just that, His Man Management is up there with the greats Pearson, O'Neill, Ranieri when it comes to handling players. I've every confidence he'll see us achieve promotion. Then go on to even better success in the future provided the club give him the financial support needed in the Premiership. Anyone not liking it, is most likely following the wrong sport. -
Welcome to Hell by Colin Martin. A riveting true story about one man's attempt to achieve success in business for himself and Family. Losses everything and end up the Bankok Hilton famous Prison. Not easy to put down when you get into it.

Clearly smart and intelligent too.
-
Fair point. But watch Enzo improve him no end before the seasons over. Like JJ he's only getting his match fitness back by playing games. We're going to need everyone over the season. What I like about Enzo is he takes each player as an individual and improves them. That's the sign of a great Manager.
-
He's improving with each game he plays. To his credit he's clearly taking his football seriously and learning more from Enzo than he did from Brendan. Scoring goals along the way will give him confidence. With Madison and Tielemans going he seizing his opportunity to become the star of the team. Long may it continue as it gives credit to supporting our own Academy graduates into the future.

I think we look a safe Banker for Saturday.
