What are the words to the new Evans tune which got an airing in SK1 yesterday? “Plays at the back with Soyuncu” and “put Harry Kane in the f###ing stand is all I got” 😂
-
Can only echo this sit in SK2 myself but was in SK4 last night. It makes you appreciate the efforts made by UFS and other like minded supporters near them. It's a completely different experience when sat anywhere else in the grounded excluding L1 in my opinion.

Probably poor wording to say those comments back up the point I was making. However, I think its unprofessional to call out his ex assistant before the game and then refuse to shake his hand or even speak to him before and after the game. Seems to me like Monk was sacked and the 1st team coach then stepped into a interim role, hardly something unheard of in football. Additionally he sayshe has no problem with the other members of his Birmingham backroom staff who have also stayed at the club. Don't get me wrong, everyone has the right to fall out with people, it's just his handling of this situation seems childish to me. When you take this into consideration with the rumours of a bustup with the owners and him wanting to use his mate as an agent, he comes across like a bit of a ****.

Anyone else think that Garry Monk seems like a ****? Almost every article published about him recently is someone saying he's not a very nice person. The comments below seemingly back that up. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11688/11870811/garry-monk-rips-into-pep-clotet-ahead-of-sheffield-wednesday-vs-birmingham

I'm sure you're right, it just seems like a club of United's stature would have a better plan in place. I suppose this almost epitomizes the state of the club currently. I'm not complaining, long may this period of madness continue! -

Even in sacking Mourinho and appointing Carrick the lack of planning by the club is dreadful. If they had sacked him and immediately appointed Zidane/Jardim etc they could have at least pretended to have a plan. This seems like the ultimate knee jerk of getting outplayed by Liverpool and panicking into a decision of sacking Mourinho to keep face with their fans. Carrick may turn out to be a tactical genius and I'll have to eat my words but I highly doubt it will happen, lets hope not anyway! -

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
The Murkle Man replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
Well worth it IMO. One of the appeals of this game, due to the fact you can recruit and use all 8 classes, you're not suddenly forced into a huge decision before you've even started the game. I started with the thief (still a pretty run of the mill class) and therefore had to fit a particular style of play. However I soon recruited the sand dancer which adds a completely different tactical approach to combat and story situations.Rather than then being stuck with these choices though you can just go and find the warrior and swap him in to the party for someone else. -

Recently downloaded the Octopath Traveller Demo on Switch and I'm really enjoying it, so much so that as soon as 3 hours were up I forked out the money for the full game. Not normally a fan of turn based RPG games but they've freshened up what was honestly a pretty dated combat style that makes it much more engaging. Also the fact you can actually play through the story with all 8 characters keeps it interesting as if you're bored with 1 storyline you can just go and do something completely different. I was a bit sceptical of the amount of grinding which would be required, but the combat is so enjoyable it's not a chore at all if you stick the tv on in the background. I'd say it’s the best game I've played on Switch aside from Zelda. -

That's what I'd go for with Alli/Lingard/Loftus Cheek interchangerble with either Dier/Sterling/Vardy depending on the game.

Has anyone got a .gif of mouriniho's face as United mucked up that chance late on? Sky zoomed in on it so there must be a file floating around the internet somewhere but I'm not feeling up to trawling through twitter... The look of pure dismay followed by the realization that the game was over may well be the best shot of the season for me! -

I've always thought Viktor Vaughn was his best alias, (I'd argue that Madvillian was a group), some fantastic stuff especially on Vaudeville Villain. I find it interesting that when you listen to a lot of new Hip-Hop artists now you can hear they were all massively influenced by Doom. I think Bishop Nehru was quoted saying he was his biggest influence, and this was before they worked together on NehruvianDoom.

Got stuck listening to this with the Mrs last night and started to think of words for a song... It needs some work but so far got: (skip to 1:11) Okazaki, He's always happy, And he's scoring all night long, Okazaki, Then run out of ideas... The 5th line is a real nightmare... We could get something decent going with this, and I doubt many other teams have sampled this haha

Plaudits for our Atmosphere, let's keep it up
The Murkle Man replied to Weller in Tights's topic in Leicester City Forum
Normally sit in SK1 but due to faffing around with whether I was going or not, I ended up having to get tickets at the back of SK4. I understand its a cup game and you're going to get day trippers etc but I couldn't believe how negative most of our fans were. Went with a couple of mates who don't normally go to the games, so was mainly stood singing by myself for the majority of the game only to receive tuts, sighs or being told to shut up. While this didnt bother me and I continued to sing for the rest of the game, in about the 80th minuet some bloke in front of me actually turned around me telling me "If I didn't shut my racket he'd rip my tongue out". I asked him if he had ever been to a football game before and then continued to sing even louder to back the team, which was obviously needed tonight! The best part is that he actually waited at the bottom of the stairs for me to come down (he left with about 5mins to go and I stayed until after the final whistle) just to offer me outside for a fight... Felt like I was in an away end for the majority of the game. Unfortunately SK1 and the Union FS lads have really spoiled me in terms of what I accept the atmosphere to be like...
