We need a manager who isn’t impressed by the career of Ayew, from a footballing point of view. As a study of survival and collection of resources he is a fascinating study.

But he's also playing them and allowing to play in exactly the same way as they have failed for the last two seasons. All the coaching staff and management have done is shuffle the players around but not, at least from the outside, worked on fixing their mistakes that causes issues on the pitch and improve their skills. If only Fatawu and Mav had half of Albrighton's effort and attitude. That's who King should be calling up for help. Aluko would make such a difference, a payer who can drive with purpose. Him and Page seem like they have natural instinct to work in a team even at this early stage.

Then when he does have space or options to pass, if by some miracle Thomas crosses the halfway line he won't pass. I remember VK making a lot of runs ahead into space unmarked and he would always ignore him to do his step over challenge. He's the winger version of Ayew, over plays and under thinks.

And they aren’t even good at passing it around and any.bit of pressure they fold, yet our players stop their press 2 metres away and let them pass. It’s frustrating that the players, captain, coaches and managers can’t see or ignore the obvious but think, let’s keep this style up. The forwards move for the initial pass but get ignored then just stand around like they have given up. It’s like stats and analysis doesn’t exist in the club. Ricardo unfortunately is now in the unlikeable category with JV and Thomas. Constantly passing backwards and putting others under pressure instead of a forward pass. Thomas could’ve booted the ball into the box from the free kick.

The whole coaching staff need to go. Nothing has improved at any level from fitness, attitude, tactics to application. I’ve been hard on King as he’s been around the dross on the way down so is part of it. He needs a fresh start and to learn the basics somewhere with less chaos

King has to go. Let him learn his trade somewhere else, added zero value. Our players don’t press, appear lazy and somehow unfit. It’s not King's fault but you would expect more from a player to see how bad the football is. The same issues let us down again, playing sideways and backwards. We have a free kick on the halfway line, the team push up and single brain cell Thomas of course square it. Ricardo was always going to flap and turn backwards. The way Aluko bombed forward last week, he would do a better job in midfield. It was like watching Soumare with the coward back passes and slow to pass going forwards.

The first goal could have been avoided if Thomas just punts the ball forwards into their goal area instead of squaring it on the halfway line. Ricardo was always going to turn back because he hasn't done anything remotely interesting since the two goals at the start of the season when he came off the bench. Not fit to be the captain as he isn't a leader. Sad that t here is no difference between Thomas and Ricardo, bring cowards on both sides that keep causing problems. Crap tactics that the manager and the coaching staff could avoid if they actually did anything. Do we technically need a manager? Just get a PT from Puregym to run training sessions and get some fitness back into the team.

Does Fatawu know he's allowed to pass the ball when running out of defence, too many times he's just given it away by holding on for too long.

He's also been part of the coaching and management team that have allowed the rot to fester and haven't corrected anything these clowns keep doing

So we got rid of Soumare and replaced him with a player who plays exactly the same.

Everything is side ways and backwards even after they cost us a goal and nearly a second. What does King and the coaches actually do all week and do they recognise problems. Thomas just stands still and marks himself out the game. Mav needs to pass, he plays like he thinks he's Pele in Escape to Victory.

They both play exactly the same. Cowards and brain dead, the first thing both of them do is look backwards.

I understand this view but Ayew stinks out the game in many areas as well as upfront, Daka just stinks upfront. If this means not seeing Ayew with his two wooden legs hobble and face like he's been licking piss off a nettle because he didn't get a free kick for falling over even though no one touched him all while ignoring his open team mates, I'll take Daka. Until he trips over his own feet while running towards an open goal.

That line up is a lot better. I hope they have worked on tactics that get the players forward quicker and support each other. Ricardo needs to stop being a coward and passing back constantly. Try moving higher up the pitch to receive the ball. Hopefully Lascelles has something to say if they keep pissing around the back. No useless Enzo ball into the middle. Ried needs to be playing the wingers into the space ahead and they need to stop being lazy and make an effort instead of standing still and trying to skin everyone or send it back. Mavadidi and Thomas need to engage their brain cell and start playing smarter.

Ayew up front, Thomas and JV at the back then it will be a slog and King needs to maybe look at a new industry to enter. Get rid of these 3 and put anyone else in will improve our chances by removing these blockers. I want to see this as a fresh start, show fighting spirit and pride but the trend this season won’t be broken until we have someone in charge of that has a clue how to set a team up to defend and attack as one.

I would stick Reid there and get him to goal hang, that’s all he has to worry about. King won’t do anything differently and Ayew will constantly drop back to defence to pass around and to the wings and not pass.

As a footballer and “coach” surely King has some awareness, has used his eyes to watch Ayew play and can see the negative impact he has over Daka. Dog shit v cat shit but Ayew stinks worse. I wouldn’t love King to sub Ayew after his first stink out to make a point. I think King is just another yes man that hasn’t got a clue. It’s not his fault but those above that are allowing the same thing to happen.

It's not what Ayew offers us up front (nothing) but the negative impact he has on the pitch in other areas. you could literally play anyone upfront and it would be an improvement because it wouldn't be the Ayew show. A half decent manager with tactics doesn't play Ayew, a half decent coaching team stops him playing how he does.
