I've never bought into Gait analysis, that's for sure. Modern science and thinking says its a load of shit for starters, especially done by shoe shops rather than professionals (though I would trust the team at Leicester Running Shop). A better thing would be running style analysis, but doesn't exist in the truest sense of the word. Correcting 'style' and form is also proving to be mainly a bad idea. You run how you run, changing it often leads to issues elsewhere. Running shoes basically try them, make sure they are comfortable, see if they are right for you in terms of whether you run with a heel strike, mid-foot strike or forefoot-strike. Just my opinion though.

100% all of this. My life without running in one way or another seems unimaginable now. Sure, there are occasional slumps, but even then once ive got back out there I suddenly remember why I love it so much. Slow, fast, casual, race. Doesn't matter. Running is a win for everyone able to do it.

I have both and have been loving running in the Evos, genuinely a fair bit quicker with the same perceived effort too. I liked the bouncyness of the Nova 5s a lot, but the foam has just totally died at 400K, maybe I just got a naff pair. EDIT: I think the evos are small in comparison to most running shoes tbf - my Saucony Azuras are akin to the Novablasts size wise, both being half an inch longer than the Evos.

Honestly, I love this club, always will. It's current guise is horrific, but Leicester City FC, yeah, I will always love it. However, after a season of absolute woeful, disgustingly bad on pitch and off pitch performances, a game that has absolutely no meaning in any way shape or form I can think of so many better things to do on a sunny Saturday bank holiday weekend that does not involve depression and anger. It's an away game for us and frankly, 2000 turning up on a long trip to Blackburn for an absolute nothing game and clapping the lads off for the season sends absolutely the wrong message to the club in it's current guise. You can be a lifelong fan and love your club and still have dignity.
