Spoiler alert! Bruce Willis was a ghost the whole fcuking time!!!
-
I'm all for it too. It's going to be a great season. 2 episodes in and there's already cracks appearing. The drama will be sweet.

The Scottish girl seems like a total see you next Tuesday. I said to the Mrs that Dylan seems the most nor.al but I like the older Asian lady, Farida is it?
-
I think it's going to be wild. They've collected quite the group of clashy personalities. Most of them are young too. I can see it be quite explosive.
-
I don’t think it's coincidental that the top 3 all have some of the highest card counts (us, Ipswich and Preston all on 26) with Birmingham (24) not far behind. That's four of the top 6...
-
I think it comes down to the way the opposition plays against us. That's the last couple of games where they've seemed happy to put absolutely no pressure on the ball, even when losing so we've been fine not pushing it.
-
Good win. Not too many chances conceded and could have gotten a few more at the end.
-
That would be an ecumenical matter.
-
I think he does too. I'm not saying he can't, I'm saying he seems hesitant to do it. Wether he doubt his pace, I don't know and its not a criticism, there is more than one way to skin a cat. It's just an observation that he's not quite as direct as AFI or Mavididi.

I agree. Also, he doesn't seem interested at all to take on a player and beat him. He would rather look for the pass and I think that's more suited to our #8 roles. Still a good option for something different out wid but I do think he can do more damage inside. I like him so far. Seems to have a good attitude and workrate as well as some quality. Still relatively young too.

Leicester City 3-0 Preston North End - Post Match Thread

I was wondering if tonight, the ref made a judgement call. There definately should have been more than 4 but seeing as how most of that came from PNE when it was still tied up, it shouldn't then go on to benefit them later in the game. -
Again, people need to have a bit of patience. When you play like we do, you don't look to win the game early, you look to tire the opposition to win it late. Defending like they are takes a lot physically and mentally. The more they do that, the harder it gets later on. A bit like a UFC fighter kicking the legs of his opponent early in the fight, your not going to win by doing it but it makes it tough as the fight goes on. As long as we don't concede first, we will win this game. If they score on the break before we do, we could be in trouble.

Mate, why you getting pissy with me? I wasn't rhe VAR official.
-
It sounds like the VAR operator got confused as to what the onfield decision was. Sounds like he thought it was given as on and after the check said yep, all good so the game went on and by the time he realised that he had agreed with the decision that it was off, the game was underway and there was nothing that could be done.
-
VAR was brought in to avoid making blatant errors but they are still happening. They will always happen because regardless of how many angles you watch it from and how much you slow it down, decisions come down to the ref so they will always be inconsistent and prone to being wrong. So it's failed in that regard. Scrap it and bring in the offside technology which looks precise and accurate and let's make our other bad decisions the old fashioned way without worrying about offsides at least.

Cowboys handing 'smiling' Bill Belichick his worst ever defeat. Pleasing.
-
I think he had played in the middle but from what I gathered, he was predominantly a RWer.
-
Aye. He came on to play on the right but when Mcateer got injured, he moved to the left.
-
Injury to Mcateer took the shine off it unfortunately.

I think we would benefit MASSIVELY from having a big man as our main striker. That's not to say that I want us to "pump it up" to him but if you watch us play, we play it up to a wide position and quite often put crosses in. We have definitely increased how many crosses we put into the box this year. Having a target man would certainly help that. Also, the way we play Nacho, we have him come deep and try hold the ball and link play, again something a Target man is traditionally used for.

None of you are ready for the tantrum I'm going to throw if JJ or Ricky gets injured! It's what I've been saying from the moment we let VK go. An injury to Doyle and one of those two and our whole system falls apart.
-
I think we are going to get a bit of a spanking tonight. I don't think the way we play will work well against a team that are as good at the press as Liverpool. Hope I'm wrong and really, I'm not all that fussed about the cup but I think our main focus for tonight would be keep it respectable.

FCUK BUTLINS!! Me and my family were just kicked out of Butlins, Skegness because two of my children had a bug. Arrived yesterday, kids got sick last night so called services today to request more towels and sheets only to be told we had to leave, forcing my wife who has medical issues to drive the full 7 hours home with two ill kids in the car (on the way down we split up the journey with a stay at a hotel and planned to do the same going home on Friday) and to top it off, we've been told we will only receive a part refund. Raging doesn't cover it.
