I thought he played well tonight. Enzo wants his striker to drop deep, link play and make space for our wingers and #8s and tonight, as an isolated instance I think he done that better than Nacho and Vardy has this season. Involved on the 3rd and helped create some very good chances. I'm far from a fan of his but credit where its due.

What is really great about this is that the fans are on at the board to back Rodgers, not knowing that doing that is only going to make it worse! The most disappointing thing about Nacho this season for me isn't his goal return. It's that, on paper, the role Enzo asks his strikers to play suits Nacho to a T. Dropping deep, linking MF with the wingers and #8s running into space beyond him. That's what he's always excelled at but it's not working for him this year. He's as close as we have to a striker who suits that role. He really should be making that spot his.

I don't think there was any disrespect meant by the OP and if there was, there shouldn't have been you guys have been great this year and I really hope it continues. However, you asked why people have the perception that you have a small squad? Simply, only 4 teams in the league have used fewer player than you. That's not a criticism, if anything, it's a compliment to those player but it isn't unreasonable to suggest that it may catch up to them if indeed you don't add a bit more depth in Jan like you say. My 9 Yr old has been on the fence with the whole Christmas thing. He half knows the truth but he still has doubts and wants to believe. I think the Elfs are a big part of why he still believes. I don't really have them do much in terms of elaborate things but I make it a challenge to move them around whilst he's awake and pottering about and he's been totally buying it. Stuff like sneaking upstairs and moving them whilst he's in the bathroom and sneaking back down so it looks like it couldn't possibly have been me. It helps that my 4 year old swears down she saw them run across the floor amd he believed her, no question.

I don't think there are many people who would honestly argue it's competitive or of a high standard. It's just when you're openly disrespectful of it and call it a "pub league," folks who actually follow it probably get their back up.

I can't remember a time when both Rangers AND Celtic have been this poor. Individually, they've both had bad spells but for them both to be thos bad at the same time is unusual.

Sorry, I disagree. Ofcourse I would given that I support LCFC and live 336 miles away but me choosing to support Leicester doesn't make me any less a fan than someone who was essentially brainwashed into it by their parents/friends etc at a young age. Me not going to games however, absolutely makes me less of a fan than someone who does. I have a very tenuous link to Leicester as I visited family who live there, every summer and went to the odd game when I was down but no longer keep in regular contact but at the end of the day, I've supported this club since 2000 and completely reject the insinuation that I'm not a real supporter.
