  1. Not good enough but his spot in the squad pre season was 5th choice centre back. Injuries and more crucially signings and Soyuncu’s incredible decline mean he basically starts every week and has to.
  2. Leaving aside the well trodden set piece and defensive issues - the biggest thing for me with Rodgers is his in game changes. Brighton and today were utterly baffling. What sort of shape were we playing second half, did the players know were they were supposed ti be? Lookman wing back? Thomas centre back? He never positively affects the game it’s almost always negative and counter productive. we are regressing big time and he’s shown no idea on how to turn it around. Time for a change.
  3. RIP Liam. Seemed a proper Leicester fan and the plane tracking is Foxes Talk heritage.
  4. If you’d never seen theM before you’d think Hamza was the seasoned international centre back.
  5. Interestingly he won a fair few headers and held the ball up well. Gives us an option to go a bit longer especially from goal kicks which has been a problem. Love his attitude and unselfishness - will be a great player for us I’m sure.
  6. Not a superstar but just what we need right now. Offers intensity and energy that is infectious. Has to play.
  7. He gets until the summer to work it out but I’m not seeing any problem solving going on at all so it doesn’t look good.
  8. Make a change ffs absolutely paralysed
  9. We do not remotely have the capacity to do that. Have to win it 5-4 imo
  10. Maddison off the right? Give me strength. Maybe it’s a diamond with barnes up front?
  11. A draw would put both out though no? Surely that won’t end all square.
  12. You have to judge every team, manager, club on its merits. We have one of the best paid managers, the most valuable squad in our history, a state of the art £100m training ground. I was willing to accept transition and injuries perhaps stalling the season as they can do but I cannot abide the continuing failure to address key but basic issues. Ultimately the set piece problem sums up all the frustration. It’s a basic, schoolboy problem that is not only going unresolved it’s getting worse. If you can’t address these simple issues how can we progress? Especially when we are likely to lose such a key player as Tielemans in the summer.
  13. Looked lively in his first few cameos. Yet it’s another to add the pile of extremely underwhelming wingers since we sold Mahrez. At least it’s only a loan.
  14. There is a theory the lifecycle for a manager (barring some exceptions) is 3-4 years. Would be of the opinion that the summer is a time for a mutual parting of ways.
  15. Legendary player but summer it’s time for a new keeper. He’s always been nailed to his line and had erratic distribution but other errors are creeping in now.
  16. At least plays with a bit of intensity and drive if the quality is a bit lacking. Certainly would be in my XI for the foreseeable future.
  17. Gasperini for me but Rodgers won’t be sacked it’s if we pick up and he’s poached. Settle in for mid table for a bit and hope he finds the right solution.
  18. Certainly has some ability but is also fitting the Praet role of a midfielder that doesn’t really offer anything decisive at either end of the pitch. Think he’ll find his feet by the end of the season though.
  19. What worries me is that I don’t see what the plan A is. I like a manager to be pragmatic and adapt to the opposition and also not stick to players/teams that aren’t working but at the same time it seems we change system and personnel pre game and during the game almost at random. A rapid front three to get in behind their high line made sense, but instead of tweaking it - maybe getting Iheanacho or Maddison on to drop towards the ball and link the play - he goes to a back 5 and then takes both wingers off for a number 10. Still seem to be searching for the best way to play and the best 11 - need to get there soon or this season could be a complete write off.
  20. Counting house is full of Spartak fans
  21. Honestly thought we’d hit the lifetime lottery with Vardy but Daka genuinely looks like the natural successor. Electric.
  22. Rolls-Royce. The way he was pulling away from them deep into the game was majestic. Slowish start but the lad is a player.
  23. Honestly such a decisive player. Can’t help but make contributions with goals and assists. Was seriously grafting today as well
  24. Stone cold killer in front of goal. The future is bright.
