She's got herself into a sticky situation there.

Why did the Excel chat stop?

I'll have it.

I'll bet. Which parts firm? I'm planning to avoid parts where the QC Supervisor has only had three hours sleep

Just got an email to inform me that tickets are on sale for the Open next year.

The Guardian did also write this, and this, and this, over the weekend, it's not like the papers are all ignoring it.

My go to joke is always: A man went to a zoo and there was just one dog. It was a shih tzu.

Has Foxestalk, as a collective, only discovered the word "poverty" in the past month or two. I swear it's in every other post. Usually to describe something that Harry Kane has done.

I once travelled for 4 hours to Middlesbrough for a two hour meeting in which I said nothing, followed by 4 hours back the same day. What a time to be alive.

I'd add some hot water if I were you. It'll blow your mind.

I have literally never had that problem, or even thought of it as a problem. How are you wearing your watch???

I'd say it's more that having a man on the line means he can't be somewhere more useful to defend (rather than counter attack). Or, in the words of the Secret Football: What particularly riles me is when you hear a pundit or co-commentator say something like, "I can't understand, Martin, why Drogba is not on the post here. That header would have fallen to him and if I'm Petr Cech I'm saying: 'Go on son, clear that off the line for me!'" The fact is corners are routinely cleared by a man stationed on the six-yard line, exactly where Chelsea position Didier Drogba. If somebody scores inside that post it is for no other reason than a player having lost his man. That is the mistake. If there is a player on the post he will clear one, possibly two shots off the line a season. If that same player stands on the six-yard line he will probably clear 100 corners away over the course of the season. The worst thing, though, is when this dross gets into popular culture and my friends start saying stupid things to me like, "We should have a man on the post, our manager doesn't know what he's doing", just because it sounds like the right thing to say. It's such an easy way of analysing that it infuriates me. It's lazy and it takes you, the viewer, for a fool. http://gu.com/p/2mmap

The sweet irony is that there are rumours of them currently having a massive drinking culture already at the club. It was mentioned by the Secret Footballer who generally knows his onions when it comes to things like that.

I'm a man who lives in a commuter town in Hertfordshire, has never grown a beard through any reason other than laziness, can't fit in skinny jeans, who rides a touring bike and wears lycra. And I don't like coffee. I'm not sure I'm in any way hipster Now middle class ponce, I can't argue against that.

Mods ban pls.

Baaaahaha I remember that. I think it was my girlfriend's favourite part of the match. It's from the "Britain Furst" parody page but I think some people are sharing it thinking it's real

I like this rule:"While the minimum number of bikes one should own is three, the correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned." http://www.velominati.com/the-rules/

I can do it through the Ride2Work scheme at work if I wait until January. Evans (where I have to get it from) still have discounts on at that time from memory. I shall give it some thought. I don't really need another bike but I only have three so there's always room for another...

Thanks! Feel I need to invest in a proper road bike. I've got a tourer which is excellent for going away for a few weekend loaded up but not optimal when you're cycling with a group of 15 on road bikes and have cars to carry everything for you! I do have an excellent cycling tan though.

Just did a charity bike ride between three of our offices. 73 miles on Tuesday followed by 47 miles on Wednesday. Feeling fine today apart from some slightly sore knee joints!
