This is so cruel. The weekend over, but our misery this week prolonged to Monday.

I think you're being overly negative here. We should be having positive titles to reward moments of rarity this season. Things like: Award for the full back who made a forward pass. Award for the defender who tracked their man. Award for the player who had a shot on target. (Although if we can't find anyone for this, maybe: Award for the player who attempted any kind of shot). Award for the pensioner who lasted the full game. There must be at least one player who did some of these things once this season, maybe 🤔

I'd have loved us to just give the kids a go at this point. But RVN seems to have dismissed that idea so more of the same I guess...

Under 18s team maybe. That's why RVN won't let them play. They don't understand his game plan.

Not this season the way we're going. Especially when we start taking our forwards off to replace them with midfielders who've barely got any game time in recent weeks / months. But the main reason is we can't get a shot on target regardless of who we play. Our best bet at scoring is some fluke own goal, because it won't be one of our players putting it past the opposition keeper.

My above post is a little harsh on Coulibaly who I've not seen enough of yet. Oh and the manager can be the second to leave, (after Rudkin!)

I can see it being hard to keep hold of Bilal if ... sorry when we get relegated, but he's someone I'd prefer we keep. Fatawu too, even coming off a big injury. Still have a soft spot for Pereira (and if I'm honest N'didi too). Vardy might still offer something in the championship, but for the amount we'd save on his wages we may be better investing elsewhere. (Sad as it is to say that). I'd love to keep Mads but think that's even more unlikely than Bilal. Rest can do one. Whatever we can get for them. Rebuild, focusing on young, hungry raw diamonds, who we can sell on for huge profits and won't be on a high wage. Hope we go back at first time of asking, a leaner, younger, but hungrier team, who'll give a much better account of themselves than the shambles we have there now.

We should start preparing for next season by playing the kids as others have said on here. They can't be worse than whatever team we put out each week, and they might surprise everyone by playing with a freedom and confidence lacking in our regular starters.

Rudkin may be very fond of our club, but that doesn't make him any good at his job. I also seem to remember reading Maresca said he wanted us to employ people to "help" Rudkin with his job when he was here with us.

While I was alive (just) when he played for us, I was too young to appreciate football back then. I'd have to take your word on it.
