A win

Take that all those Faes haters. (Okay I keep saying he should go too ... )
-
Typical of us really
-
Not Winks's biggest fan, but has to be a much better option than either of these two. Would possibly bring on Choudhury for the other.

Anywhere on target and its in.

Deja vu
-
Better.
-
Keep conceding corners. Would prefer more action in their box

Still me too please

I'm in Lagos Portugal right now. Keep getting the weather where you are by mistake when I google it. I'm just over an hour away, (although this significantly increases on match days and rush hour). Not too far from Birmingham nowadays. M6 then M69. I can't go that often now I have kids, but used to go regularly, (especially when I used to get Craig Shakespeares tickets ). Since my eldest was born nearly 7 years ago I'm not sure I've managed to go, but all my children know to support us when we're on, and we watch the match. Not the same as going though, and they'll be going when the youngest is a bit older.

Think so, unless we recognise the fact Kingy is back! -
James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)

My bad, for some reason I thought he'd got longer. Then makes sense I guess to cash in if we generate interest. -

Isn't that an argument to keep him this season and sell next summer? I'm all for trimming the squad and agree JJ looked a shadow of himself at times more recently, but I also want our trimmed squad to still be the best it could be and we've an unknown and Thomas who's even more hot and cold as alternatives. We could buy someone else, but sometimes it's better the devil you know, and like you said he'll do a job in this league. -
Oh I remember feeling great during the game, it was truly a magical season, and it felt special right from the start. I think the feel good after the great escape helped. There was a bit of a downer during the summer with the fiasco during the summer tour and Nigel's subsequent firing, but there was so many things that just felt right. I was super excited with us capturing Kante (and I have no idea why, although we had missed out on a couple of other midfielders over the summer so perhaps it was the relief at finally persuading someone to join us), and although he didn't play in the game against Sunderland, there was this nice movement and passing in the Sunderland game that just foreshadowed what was to follow.

It's okay. I'm back where I was 10 years ago in sunny Portugal. About 10 feet from the spot where I can very close to putting a bet on us just for the sheer audacity, and then decided against it. Part of me kicks myself for not, part of me wonders if doing so would have cursed us. I still won money off my Villa mate who'd insisted on betting who came higher that season. 😆

Very certain we only won 4-2 against Sunderland on the opening day.

"Oi, move mate. We're trying to watch the movie."

I wouldn't trust Rudkin with 50p let alone £50m. Here you are Marti, we've found you two more Skipps to warm the bench with ... -
Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)

Saw this thread at the top, and was briefly filled with hope... -
Just realised I've basically repeated what you said.

Just the feeling rather than a direct comparison. We'd come off the back of the greatest season ever, and kept most of that team together going into the next season (Kante being the noticeable exception). Hull had, (if memory serves me right 13 first team players available and some of those only just returned to the team/ rushed back). There team was picked by who was available and players shoehorned into positions through necessity. And we all know how well we took advantage of that situation. We may be about to face a team playing whoever will still play for them, shoehorning a team together with players playing in positions through nessity ... and over 4 decades of supporting the mighty Foxes, I know how we like to surprise everyone on the day.

It's just such a Leicester City thing to do. In theory we should have one of the strongest squads on paper, even with no signings and all the waste of space we can't offload. The opposition is riddled with problems, losing their manager, losing players left right and centre, not even able to pay their players and staff. Only one team going to win when the two teams meet.....

Am I the only one worried of a repeat of the Hull City first game in the 16/17 season?
