The way they're playing they may be our relegation rivals soon. (Them and Man City )

Not got time to look after 3 kids at Christmas, try to get them to bed before kick off and read everyone else's comments on here, so apologies for asking a question that must have been asked a hundred times but ... How is Cunha still playing?
-
Lol. My 2 oldest are girls. Not that I'm against girls playing football, but I don't think they'd be eligible to play in the men's league. My youngest is a boy. Only just turned 2, but if Ward was playing I was prepared to drive him to Anfield and offer him as an alternative keeper.

Even if RVN wanted El Khannouss in the number 10 role, and felt against Wolves Ayew is the more natural on the wing - there is no excuse why he'd play Ayew today having seen how useless he was in that match... I'd much rather the team had Choudry for Justin (and I've been a long time admirer of JJ but feel like he's not playing well right now), and Buanotte for Ayew. (I think I'd have had Okoli for Coady too). Bad enough Vardy is injured, because whether he starts or not, he's able to cause problems, but to play JJ and Ayew puts us at a disadvantage right from the off. Thank goodness Ward isn't in goal or we may as well just turn the team bus back around now.

When I started writing this no one had commented. I must be a very slow typer (although having 3 small children screaming around my feet still high on Christmas slows typing too).

Don't care if there is any truth to the rumours Buonanotte may be sold off in January by Brighton. He's our player right now and probably our best outfield performer the season (especially since Fatawu is injured). While he's here he should be first name on the team sheet.

I'd rather just start with 9 players than field these two. I'm not convinced Choudhury is a premier league standard fullback (or even player in any position) but I'd play him there over Justin right now. I'd play my dead nan or 2 year old son over Ward in goal.
-
I'm not sure why. It's not like Liverpool are scoring for fun and we're conceding goals at an alarming rate ...
-
Okay fine. On the technicality we have the record away from home our record will be safe. But I'm just so deflated right now. It doesn't matter (watching today's game) if we play at home or away, we've got to be better than today or we'll be lucky to pick up many points for the rest of this season.

Hope you're right, but then I hope if Mads is out, Stolarczyk is back fit enough to play too.
-
Watch as our 9-0 record margin is smashed in this match, if Ward is in goal it could easily be that score by half time.
-
Only 1 - I had the foresight to make Cunha my FF captain this week.
-
Too little too late. Hope he at least scores a conciliation goal so RVN has no choice but to start him ahead of Ayew from now on.

Too little too late bringing him on now. Hope he scores so he at least starts next match. -
I'm sure he'll still try his best to.
-
Don't care how injured Mads is, can he please play? He could just stand in one spot. At least he'd save something.
-
We're going back down! Need to make changes at half time. Are we allowed to field 11 outfield players? We may as well since we're just taking up a place with that joker in goal.
-
Can't make him any worse
-
We're so lucky to have a keeper like Ward. My nan would have stopped that and she's been dead for years. At least she wouldn't have dived out the way.
-
We've looked better since conceding, but we should be doing a lot more. Need to be testing their keeper from closer.
-
Nobody makes the goal as big a target as Ward does!
-
You could only think of 99 people we could field in goal ahead of Ward? Shame on you.
-
It's the once or twice (at least) times per game when he loses his man and plods snail pace back. Even when he plays well going forward and has put in some good tackles, strung some decent passes together, there is still times when he seems to think, nope I can't be arsed this time. It's frustrating because I think there is a good player there somewhere let down by his attitude.

Looking forward to your post match analysis. Think we rode our luck a bit, but I wish we'd defended more like this at the weekend. Some good fortune playing against a West Ham team that aren't looking convincing themselves this season. However, even though it was mostly one way traffic West Ham's way, there was something about that ball through to our attackers that looked a lot better than has been of late. We found the space and had more support in attacks. We were quicker, giving West Ham less time to get numbers back. Up until yesterday we seem to run into a wall of defenders every time we attack and things break down. The way we counter attacked last night looked more like the Leicester of old. Daka's goal felt very much like the kind of goal we got many times in 2015/16 season, pace and composure, with the ball played into a gap at the back. It's very early days, but clear positives at the moment, even if we do need a lot of work to ensure we're not having to defend so much. -
Daka!!!
