As I've said, they should agree a pre-contract agreement (like Liverpool and Kieta), get it all lined up for the summer. £70m, and we all move on. Mahrez gets his head down, and gets us the FA cup and Europa qualification, we attract a replacement, (and have more time to find one). Everyone's a winner. (Except Mahrez, 'cus he'll potentially miss out on all Man City's winners medals this season)

I don't think Diabaté is a no9, personally

We should now keep Slimani. We now have 3 number 9s left in the squad; Vardy, Slim and Ian. We have potentially 18 games left in all competitions. If one gets injured, to be left with less than three, would be poor planning imo. (I appreciate that Diabaté, Okazaki and even Iborra could do a job as number 9, but why leave yourselves exposed?!)
