Im sure others that have pulled out over the years have tasted actually being part of clubs that win things and want more of that. Nobody else can be arsed with this horrific format so don’t particularly blame the players for possibly feeling the same.

I know we had a brilliant run but I’d have bloody loved us to have played in this format, look at the variety of teams that Villa get to play, whether they qualify or not that’s some serious memories made and for me sure beats the 3 teams home and away format.
