Only mine and the old man's second home game of the season yesterday, back in the singing section and both oved it once again. The simple thing of being able to sing without being tapped on the back or stared at like you've got 4 heads is remarkable. Those who slag off UFS for only singing "their songs" is a complete myth and agenda-driven too by the way. People started chants from further back and the UFS lads and lasses immediately picked up and ran with it. A great effort and I can honestly say I wouldn't have bothered with home games again without the section. Hopefully it grows and grows in years to come.

Four times! That's a decent effort. Really good to hear that it's actually possible though, cheers. I guess trying to keep as much of a routine as you can would naturally help. I wonder if doing it so often has made it easier for yours? Becomes a bit more "normal" then.

Are the logistics of travelling around a country with a baby too much? Not talking anywhere mental, I'm thinking somewhere in Europe where we can rent a car/ jump on a train between destinations. Am I being naive that it's possible? I know it depends on the baby/ our attitudes etc, but would people say the basic stuff makes it a nightmare? We're not the types to stay around a pool for a week in the same hotel, which I guess is logistically the easiest when taking a baby abroad. Any advice/ experiences would be great!

Yeah good point we were really struggling before Daka came into the team. -

Still got a spare for this if anyone still wants one. Happy to take £20 for it. -
LCFC must offer General Sale to fans
walkerleeds replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
I don't understand what other context/ specifics you need? The original statement mentions what the query was and it's pretty obvious what the response was. Obviously screenshots of the conversations would be counterproductive because the trust is then lost and communication breaks down I would imagine (they seem like quite a temperamental bunch down there). UFS and Foxes Trust are not comparable, the former actively tries to improve things for fans. The fact you can't seem to read between the lines around this and require specifics doesn't make them silent, it simply means they aren't stupid enough to lose whatever communication they currently have by posting details on a football forum. -

I know it's my own fault for looking, but the narrow-mindedness on the Facebook pages is bonkers. "Pay up or shut up" "It's only £32" "I've spent thousands on the club I love and wouldn't change it" et al. Absolutely staggering. -

One for sale. £24. -
Fairly sure his record for his former club wasn't amazing either really. Just another absolutely bizarre Man Utd signing him.

Coventry Away (13th January Saturday 3pm KO)

That is such a cop-out, of course they can be treated the same! We aren't on the breadline any more you know, there's no need for the average ticket to be close to £40 for a Championship game. As everyone now knows, matchday income accounts for very little in the grand scheme of things for clubs like LCFC, so vastly inflating matchday prices is completely and utterly unnecessary. Unless you're a ST holder, you get screwed over weekly. -

Don't know why everyone is so appalled at this, LCFC screw over match-by-match fans regularly. The cheapest ticket for "Category A" fixtures at our place is about £35 from what I can see. -
That's pretty cool to be fair. What were their thoughts then?

Just another completely unnecessary way of making things more difficult for members isn't it.

Made me laugh when this was trotted out against PSG the other week, despite them starting with the following front three: Almiron- £20 million Isak- £60 million Gordon- £45 million. A modern day miracle worker.

True, football is a microcosm of society isn't it. For a variety of reasons, people cannot just lose themselves in the football and back the team they support for a couple of hours a week anymore. The sad part is that I genuinely think mine and many others' fanaticism (brought about due to the aforementioned atmospheres) made the Pearson years and beyond so fvcking enjoyable, and the future fanbase just won't have that, or it doesn't feel like it right now at least...
-
I really worry for the next generation of our fan base, I fell in love with football due to the atmosphere generated. If you can get a ticket (and the closed shop nature has killed us), then there is zero passion in the stands. By the way, those blaming the style of play are just trying to make themselves feel better. We had a free kick in a great position to nick it last night, yet there was barely a murmur of excitement. Really sad.
-
Yeah, noticed all of this actually. Problem is trying to get a ticket down there though isn't it, as that's the only place in the ground I will go to now.
-
Really enjoyed yesterday. Not been to a home game for ages and being near UFS was great, they/ we didn't stop. Presuming from the comments that atmosphere on the whole was poor, but the front of the section was great fun. I particularly liked the Enzo Maresca chant continued during that absolute dirge they blare out at full time.

Been through it myself and my leg will never be the same as a result of complications. Incredible mindset from Alves to look and sound as healthy as he does.

Mad that an immediate six-game ban is clearly supported by our fans on here. Not, you know, a conversation first to tell him they don't like it...

Any tips for Tirana? Cable car, square and bunker museum thing look cool. Any decent bars/ other areas worth visiting etc?

Game on! Have SA got any decent part time spin options? Maharaj and Shamsi surely need to bowl out their overs from here. -
