Well it certainly did not transmit around the ground, small pockets of dissent does not make it a toxic atmosphere which it definitely wasn’t, even the matches where there were banners in the UFS area there was very little uptake anywhere else in the ground. A few hundred out of 29k or so just isn’t toxic. If it had of been just maybe our idiot of a manager would have gone sooner.

Genuine question, do you go to the games, where was this toxic culture you refer to last season, for the vast majority of time it was quite the opposite which was part of the problem.

People need to remember Burnley failed to win any of their first 4 games last season as their new side bedded in, it’s quite conceivable it will take us a while to get going and we have a banana skin of an opening game.

How many times, you can’t force a player to leave. Its happening more and more as players see this as the best way to make money although would guess it’s not worked out as well as Tielemans hoped.
