  1. Agreed, did you see the stock price of a certain pharma company go up nearly 400% when the UK announced it had ordered X amount of a vaccine that isn't ready yet.
  2. Recession being announced today meaning the markets will inevitably drop, be a good time to start researching, can see some lows coming!
  3. Is this true??
  4. Had a few bits from there the other week, came to £15 and me and the missus couldn't move after. Quality stuff.
  5. I work for the council and haven't stopped once for covid, whether working from home or not (have been back in the office full time since April). My mate works for Hawkeye, and hasn't worked on full pay for months...
  6. Is there a list of restaurants/pubs doing this price initiative in the county?
  7. It's a valid point. I reckon for cases, the UK has had 10x more than what has been confirmed. Easily.
  8. who are the ONS? and why do their numbers differ from PHE?

    The gym

Don't want to drop names, but its in NE leicester, just off the a46
  10. Fish out of water? for the second

    The gym

Good from a chain gym to do that. My gym has no regulations in place at all, went yesterday around 4pm, and no one was distancing and large groups working out together!
  12. I agree, I don't think it is as bad as once thought, however I don't think we can go back to how we once were. My Mum and Grandma, are so scared to leave the house, it is now becoming such a mental strain on them. I think it's now starting to do more damage than good tbh.
  13. you wont regret waiting to go Australia, what a place. Where in Europe you got planned?
  14. I fancy some wild camping, is this possible in England (legally of course ). Also looking at a day trip to Norfolk tomorrow, was going to chuck a tent in, any campsites that are worth looking at?
  15. Agree. I am now back in work full time, we take good measures, even when on site visits. My mum and Dad are definitely in the highly vulnerable category so I make sure I sit well away from them in their garden when I visit (every month or so). Yet when my missus comes back from Ireland, we won't be going anywhere near my parents for a while. It's like people are trying to find every small scenario like you say, then requiring a yes/no on it. The ones bashing you to define 'common sense' are the same ones who probably took part in VE day celebrations but claimed to be 'socially distancing'
  16. Literally this. I'm as annoyed about this as anyone. The lack of information is appalling. However, you don't need your hand holding by the government, just use common sense, it's really not that hard.
  17. Are there rules for getting a test now? Is it pointless getting one straight after a flight if the incubation period is 4-5 days?
  18. I can't get my head around it all tbh. Why after the protests was there not a significant rise? Which one would've expected to see. Why are some getting it much worse than others? Its boggling

    Houses

So I've just started a podcast, I'm trying to encourage all 20-30 year olds to discuss things they struggle to talk about etc. I am interviewing a guy who started his own estate agents tonight, and wondered when you were younger/ thinking of buying. What did you struggle with? Or what would you like to know? Thanks
  20. Couldn't agree more.
  21. They'd be more likely to allocate some seats to home fans, then not give any away allocation?

    The gym

Important to remember to rest just as hard as you train. Take it easy, slow and steady wins.
  23. Rob Chelsea of £80m for Chilwell and make this lad our first choice LB. Easy.
  24. This is what does my head in. No one is miserable about breaking into the top 6. Everyone, is in fact furious that we let a 14 point lead slip. It wasn't down to injuries (which obviously haven't helped), but down to our own mental inability to win those games which we should've. Poor tactical decisions along with poor player performances have really cost us.
