  1. This is it. No one is saying Derby aren't their main rival but the denial of 'not caring about Leicester' just seems strange.
  2. It will be good tonight, just need the team to be positive.
  3. My mates dad is a Chelsea fan who often comes City games with us as well, and I genuinely think he'd love seeing them in league one.
  4. This can't be real I need a ban.
  5. I had my reservations seeing as he hadn't played at this level, but he looks so assured and genuinely top class. He's had to change his style too, or at least the style that he'd been known for with us. He's gone from being amazing on the ball and under little to no pressure in the Champ, to looking like someone that can win us a game on his own in a tough league.
  6. You know the nerves and excitement are real when you're taking half a day for a home night game
  7. Great idea
  8. Soccer03 is now Soccer04
  9. Spurs away in 2004 for the 4-4 game.
  10. Not saying there's anything wrong with it, I'm just saying that it's less of an incentive to go a game on your own and pay that much. It would be for me anyway.
  11. There's about a dozen tickets left The only thing shocking is people paying £50+ for it to sit on their own.
  12. Don't Wimbledon fans still boycott that fixture as well when it's away?
  13. Weston-super-Mare v Bristol Rovers is a cracking tie aswell.
  14. I don't know too much about boxing but that Bivol and Beterbiev fight seemed extremely high quality. I don't know how likely it is, but a rematch would be a good watch.
  15. That Eubank and Benn exchange was so embarrassing Neymer being used as a puppet and looking unbelievably awkward as well.
  16. I'd actually sooner miss out knowing we took a stance and still won without any backing. Besides, I don't have fear of missing out as much these days after lockdown and I know I'd be able to make the next rounds inc the final either way.
  17. Yeah I'd prefer it to be completely empty. Or at worst, a few hundred there because they struggle to get tickets normally. If we got the balance between having an end that looked like it was proving a point, rather than one that isn't well supported (if that makes sense) then it would be a job well done.
  18. People calling Man Utd (rightly so) for the ridiculous prices but there's absolutely no reason we as a club couldn't have subsidised some of the cost to help our own out.
  19. We did the tour in 2015 as there wasn't a game on during our time there. That was pretty impressive itself seeing as it was for two big clubs. I'd love to get a game in one day. I genuinely reckon you could get ticket and flight close to what some pay for a one off City home game as well, or the same cost of a boring away day.
  20. 25 minute park run at Abbey park today which I'm very happy with seeing as I was out late drinking in Ashby. Having spent so much time there as a kid I've not always appreciated just how good a park it can be, particularly early in the morning. Me and my mate are working our way through the Leicestershire list with Beacon Hill likely to be last
  21. It's a shame such a positive idea is being overshadowed by the clubs actions (again).
  22. It didn't even feel like Dortmund properly got going either
  23. They were charging £55 in 2014 before the cap, if I remember correctly. They'd be asking for £70+ if they could.
  24. @L1neker08 This might be the best thread for you
  25. I wouldn't say football is the problem. It's more the premier league. If anyone goes non league, where the charm is very much still alive or any European game in person, they'll see the difference in atmosphere and match day experience. Leicester is such an extreme too. We have a fan base that generally don't seem interested, so even making the most of the day out can often make the 'event' feel like a chore. Even if you individually have good intentions of enjoying yourself.
