  1. I'm 99.9% a sarcastic cvnt. And we all have charities close to our heart. Send the link. No child or parent should have to go through that ❤️
  2. My mum suffers from MS. This is Foxestalk at its absolute best again. Most of you are probably fed up of me, but it's your own fault for being so good in the depression thread. Seriously. You lot are heroes.
  3. Mods... Could this topic be pinned for a few weeks please? I know people are struggling with the cost of living and under pressure. But it's a time for giving if you can afford to. And I'm sure there will be some great causes posted here. It's just a great idea for a thread.
  4. I'd pick it up and hit you with it
  5. Ffs. I know you know @Izzy but I thought better of you.
  6. And reciprocated to your charity. Merry Xmas, mate 👍
  7. Superb @Bob Weasel Fox What a great idea. I'm going to promote this, basically the Northamptonshire version of Loros https://www.cynthiaspencer.org.uk/donate They sent what can only be described as an angel to look after my father-in-law in his final hours.
  8. The Chelsea game... Why does it look like they're taking penalties from about 8 yards out? Looks tiny. Haha fvck off Newcastle. The wait goes on. Massive club though
  9. Tripper was great for Newcastle. But he seems to have turned into Nicky Platnauer in the last month.
  10. Someone clearly doesn't like JJ
  11. Feels a bit like that now. I don't think the winner tonight was that controversial. Had we won the Ashes 3-2 with the exact same finish, Stuart Broad would've won it for the next 39 years. The panel that chose the shortlist were aware that Frankie Dettori is Italian, right? I can't moan, I didn't vote. It would've been Broad first and Rory second for me. But having seen Mary Earps dress...
  12. I travel all over the country with my job. I think it was in Yorkshire somewhere last week, there was a sticker on a ceiling that was at least 15 foot above the floor that just said..."ALDERSHOT F.C. THE PRIDE OF HAMPSHIRE"
  13. I've had a lovely night. Watched the first half of the Man City game, then SPOTY, now the second half of Chelsea v Newcastle. All possible because the Mrs and kids have gone to the pantomime at the Derngate Theatre in Northampton. And before anyone tries it...oh yes they have
  14. I think she's quite attractive. I'm sure me saying that is the best thing that's happened to her tonight
  15. OK, fair point. A lot of people look back at Pearson and idolise him, but at the time, this forum was quite split. You do feel an affinity to someone, undoubtedly, but a football club is bigger than one person. Forest made that mistake nearly 30 years ago by letting Brian Clough chose his departure date. Had the board acted at that time, they might not have had the last shite 20 years or so.
  16. And won a place in the England team. If Southgate does play full backs, we've got quite a lot of talent in that area.
  17. Sorry, should I have said panties? Or knickers?
  18. Justin is still young enough to get better if it can be overcome, physically and mentally. But we'll keep hold of Ricky P, who is still more than good enough to play at elite level. Just not quite enough to have fulfilled his full potential though, which is sad.
  19. Really needed to twist your arm there mate I mean, is that just her pants above the skirt? Does she wear this under her goalkeeper kit? She looks great.
  20. He's done his ACL twice hasn't he? I'm not surprised he isn't playing as well as he did before, when he earned plaudits and an England cap. I don't think the ability is an issue, it's probably a mentality problem. Confidence will hopefully grow and he should be getting support from sports psychologists. He's still only 25 and wouldn't be able to imagine a life without football, he's bound to be tentative. If he does his knee again, he knows it's pretty much over, at the very top, at least.
  21. 2 minutes is a long time in relation to a football match. Yes, if its a head injury and concussion protocols need to be followed, it's understandable, but not for a genuine non head injury. Look at it this way, it's the 115th minute of an FA Cup semi-final, your team is 2-1 up. They're the underdogs and have put everything on the line. The other team are bombarding you, pushing for an equaliser, but your centre back has given everything and genuinely has cramp. No way you can withdraw him for 2 minutes and potentially lose the game.
  22. Oh my word. What is Mary Earps wearing? Or not wearing. I fully expect @Izzy to post a fair few pictures, as he did with Alex Scott's outfit last year
  23. Agree. But my point is Luton and Sheffield United in particular are maybe a bit ahead of where they should be and the players won't be leaving if they get relegated. If anything, they'll strengthen. Most of Burnleys team last season would've been looked at by Premier League teams. If those sides do go down, I think they'll stick together and come back stronger.
  24. I also think if they get relegated, which realistically, at least two will, Luton, Burnley and Sheff Utd are in a perfect position to come straight back up and close the gap. Making what is arguably one of the weakest Premier Leagues in to the strongest. Whatever you think of them, we had 'star players' of Maddison, Tielemans and Barnes. Luton, Burnley and Sheffield United don't. There shouldn't be an exodus of players, they know they'll be floating around between two divisions, we didn't. They'll add a bit more quality and get stronger.
