To think he only had about 4 goals in best part of 100 games for Genk, it's only a matter of time before this piece of work is double figures for goals and assists season after season. He really is the Mark Draper of 1994/95. Let's hope the outcome of that season isn't the same and he's off to pastures new in the summer as he's literally the only bright spark of the season since Facundo's early promise. What a player.

If it's too much to ask for a winger and a striker (to go with a left footed defender) then I want us to target a winger who can play up front. Bournemouth have a load of them in Kluivert, Semeyno and Ouatarra. I'm going to try and unearth a couple

Has he honestly got 18 months left on his deal? I know it was never announced the exact length and some thought it expired last summer but another 2 years from then would be surprising.

I still have a soft spot for Thomas but he'll end up leaving on a free so just take the money and reinvest. We will run doing this twice with Iversen, don't do it again.

Kone is extremely highly rated. There are occasionally players from League One who are PL level within 6-18 months.

El Khannouss I'd be sad to see go even though I'm not yet hugely attached to him as he's like Draper was to us in 1994/95. The only bright spark and it's hard to be overly enamoured even though you can appreciate the quality.

I think it'll come down to what they'd offer him were they to go up. We might have to subsidise his wages for the rest of this season but at this stage I'd just take him going for a nominal fee.

Good luck trying to find a buyer for Hamza when we're a PL side with thr wages he's on. A loan with obligation to buy on promotion would be a decent outcome.

Yes, suggests he's been misinformed. This begs the question why was he told this and by whom. Or it is ball park true but he's been asked to remove it and he's agreed.

The point i was making is his agent could easily have verified this story for Percy given the close proximity to the midlands and other staff/players within our club too. Surprised this has seemingly got to this, Percy seldom publishes stuff he hasn't got assurances on.

Probably wouldn't have been very difficult to verify the story with him. When I read the bit about going to Rudkin my immediate thought was this has come from his agent but perhaps not then.

Hahahaaa I had a feeling there was a Percy bombshell in the offing. If he's having a pop at Bounanotte and Okoli then I wonder what he made of Jordan Ayew in the closing minutes vs Palace and immediately afterwards, not to mention he's a fine one for falling over with the faintest of touches.
