Said it at the time when we signed both Winks and Coady, we'd learnt absolutely nothing. Neither were coming here on wages that a Championship team ought to be paying and neither (in my opinion) have the strength of character that we were lacking to add more experience to an already ageing squad. Winks did well last season but so he should given the level he's supposed to be, he's been pony this season though and i dread to think the wages he's on. Hopefully him and Coady are gone in the summer, along with Ayew and others. They aren't worth the money we pay them.

Development/Youth Squads 2024/2025 Thread - U18/U21

Watched him vs Cov and he's very busy and got technical ability. But too early in what I've seen of him to be 100% confident on his ability but looks very promising. He's very well thought of, could be the best of the lot, who knows. -

Yes plays either flank but predominantly a RB. -
Monga won't get on here, so frustrating.

Really impressed by Aluko last week looks very talented. -
Ayew's beyond words
-
Ayew is hideous, genuinely one of the worst players I've seen play for us this last decade. If this is what we're reduced to then pack it in. Hands our shares back to the professional football leagues.
-
Still a lie though isn't it. Said he'd be on the bench and didn't put a disclaimer in.
-
RvN lied about Evans then. Ridiculous
-
Blasted mate

You'll start him if you've got any bottle Ruud. Monga ain't arsed he's only 15, let him at um.

Manchester Utd 2-3 Leicester City 2 nil down and Monga and Evans brace

Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official
Ric Flair replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I wish Palace did own him, it means we'd not have been able to loan Edouard. Bounanotte's 1st handful of games here was a breath of fresh air, he was head and shoulders our best player and deserved the plaudits. He's been sacrificed in a new regime that tries to have more structure but is overall just as tactically flawed and as a result we're worse off from missing out on Facundo's unpredictability and attacking Flair. We've had some of that replaced by El Khannouss but seemingly don't seem able to use both at the same time. My answer to that would be to try 3-4-2-1 with them both behind the striker but neither Cooper nor RvN are keen on us playing three at the back. -

Monga has been with us for many many years so Seagrave isn't the causation of him coming here. Not sure about Evans but I suspect he's also been here since a very early age. -
If RvN gets serious about blooding our academy players then stick by him for next season IMO.

This was the plan for Monday's episode we didn't end up recording. Definitely on the agenda to do pal 👍 -
Amartey did fairly well for us for £5m.
-
And pay them 75% of what we'd paid them in wages (and the rest of the squad still here/not left on a free) and we'd still be challenging top 10 in the PL I'm convinced of it.

There's been some mind blowing bargains in the last 2 weeks from Scandinavia. I can almost accept when we miss out on various South American bargains as we don't even know that continent exists but when we've had success in buying from Scandinavia before it truly baffles me. Oliver Provstgaard went to Lazio for £3m. A 6ft 4 ball playing left footed CB, who captains Denmark U21 side. I just cannot even spaaaake.

Probably sell him and give Denayer £150k a week for 4 years.

Might be time I brought CAT-SHIT back -
Bang on. We've already spent a decade with a DOF who had no credible experience to warrant being given the role at such a club so might as well give it to another novice who can be controlled. This is why I think any call for change shouldn't just be directed at Rudkin, it's the entire ownership. Getting rid of Rudkin or moving him aside will be the responsibility of the group of people who have presided over our decline already, a scary thought. King Power OUT

Add in Danny Ward too who'll go on a free this summer and the £4m we rejected for Iversen from Palace in 2023 to go on to pay him a further 2 years wages where he's not made a single appareance and will leave for free this summer.

Not sure when the next pod will be. We didn't do one this weekend for a few reasons and Jord is away now for a few weeks but we'll be getting one in ASAP. We don't want to keep going over the same stuff so thinking of how we can keep it interesting during this horrific period of being a Leicester fan. I might start doing recipes and cooking lessons.
